La visita, además de interesante es sumamente didáctica. Es todo un canto a la vida y rezuma amor al planeta. El gusto que te deja es una mezcla de sabor a plátano y té. Gracias, Fran, si como especie tenemos alguna posibilidad de sobrevivir, pasaría por tener muchos ejemplares como tú. Muy recomendable, por no decir obligatoria, la visita a su plantación

Die Plantage von Fran ist ein wahrer Schatz. Wenn man die ganzen Mono- Kulturen auf der Insel sieht, steht seine Art Landwirtschaft zu betreiben im direkten Gegensatz dazu.
Die Führung über die Plantage war sehr interessant, Fran ist ein super Erzähler und man spürt die Leidenschaft mit der er sich für eine diversere und gesündere Landwirtschaft einsetzt.
Leider ist die Plantage auch vom Vulkanausbruch betroffen, sodass dort alles erst wieder langsam aufgebaut wird.
Es wurde auch kein Eintritt verlangt, man aber etwas Spenden, wenn man möchte. Das haben wir auch sehr gerne getan.
Wir können die Führung über die Plantage jedem empfehlen! Sehr lehrreich und sehr schön. Fran spricht etwas englisch und bemüht sich sehr alles auch auf englisch zu erklären.
Unser kleiner Sohn( 11 Monate) war auch sehr begeistert ;)

Experiencia apasionante por su contenido y su divulgador, Fran García. Es un educador sensacional y un creador de conciencia acerca de agricultura ecológica y educación ambiental. Es una visita imperdible para aquel visitante de la isla al que le guste la naturaleza y quiera conocer el mayor cultivo de la isla. No os la perdáis!!!!!

We visited just before the volcano eruption and I never got around to writing a review. However I have since learned that the ecofinca has been severely damaged by the eruption which is such a shame.
Fran and his team are some of the nicest, passionate most genuine people that my husband and I have met on our travels. We had a wonderful morning learning about the bananas and the ecofinca. We wish them all the best in their rebuilding efforts. If you find yourself in the area, please do pay them a visit or help out if you can to help regenerate this gem of a place.

Ganz La Palma ist von derartigen Plantagen übersät. Für die Insel mag dies von ausschlaggebender Bedeutung sein, doch ökologisch könnte das Ganze in einer Katastrophe enden, denn Bananen benötigen sehr viel Wasser, dessen Herkunft mir in dem Maße nicht erklärbar ist.

No sé cómo explicar lo sorprendente de la visita, nada que ver con lo que nos esperábamos.
Fuimos de vacaciones a La Palma desde Gran Cañaría, así que hicimos la visita a Platanologico conociendo algo del cultivo del plátano y sin demasiadas expectativas de esta visita, honestamente, pero solo puedo decir que salimos FASCINADOS.
Muchas gracias Fran por todo lo que nos has enseñado, ha sido sencillamente INCREIBLE, no solo recomendable sino necesario oír lo importante del mensaje que transmites.

No hay plan mejor que hacer en La Palma. Si tienes un mínimo de interés, ya no por el cultivo de plátanos, por la naturaleza, es una visita obligada. Se trata de una finca donde se cultiva el platano de forma ecológica pero lo mejor es la forma en la que te lo explica Fran. Una vez llegas y te sientas a escuchar, olvídate del tiempo y disfruta de la cantidad de información que te va a dar, además, con una pasión inusual. Cada explicación es una lección de cómo actúa la naturaleza, de cómo todo ésta relacionado y de la responsabilidad que todos los actores tenemos en hacer un mundo más saludable. Vas a aprender de plantas, animales, clima y procesos alimenticios. Por no hablar de que lo explica de una forma muy divertida. Las 2 horas se quedan cortas pero no te preocupes, se te va a pasar volando.
