A magical trip with spectacular scenery, the kindness and attention of the people who accompanied us on this adventure was great, the hostels where we stayed had all the comforts to recharge energy, the menus were varied and the food great in all the restaurants. The only thing that is complex is the long runs in the 4X4, fully recommended the destination.

Amazing plan! Really different landscapes, each stop has something unique and the way itself is an experience. I went with my daughter and we can recommend it.
The accommodations are basic but clean and with very special attention.
The food, very good and varied.
Today several Wayuu child and population checkpoints that in return ask for household provisions, we get around this with advice from our driver.

Guajira Tours organized our honeymoon in Cancun, everything was wonderful and in perfect order. It was an all-inclusive package from those transferred from Riohacha - Cancun - Riohacha, with an incredible hotel, delicious meals.
In short, we really enjoyed our Honeymoon thanks to the excellent service of Guajira Tours.

Not suitable for someone who travels alone and seeks adventure and delight of nature.
Most of the time you are in a crowded car with 7 people and the route is clear (approximately 14 hours total in 3 days.
The walk is zero and the viewpoints without much fun.
It would be better to take a bus, camp in the first 100 km of the river, then without exaggeration 50 checkpoints, mostly elderly people and children with ropes looking for a cookie. With all due respect, it's not worth it, not that way.
That's if the food and accommodation are excellent.

Excellent service provided by the collaborators of @guajiratours and our guide Luis. An experience from another planet with the landscapes that the immense Guajira gives us, plus cultural learning! Delicious food and accommodation. We will definitely return once again in search of the Macuira natural park! 100% recommended

We stayed for 5 days with Guajira Tours, getting to know the exotic and beautiful Guajira, its beautiful landscapes and the kindness of the people, the driver Carlos, excellent company and knowledgeable about the area, which is very important for everyone's safety. We started in Bahia Hondita having breakfast at Punta Soldado, a beautiful beach, then we went to see the Macuira National Park where Daisy, a very friendly Wayuu girl, guided us. I don't rate the tour excellent because the hotel in Nazareth Mulamana is not recommended due to the state of its rooms and poor customer service.
We continued to the dunes of Taroa where we stayed in El Kachi, an excellent place and service, we recommend it 100%, the best hotel on the promenade as well as its beaches. There we cycled to some nearby dunes, we continued to Punta gallina at the Kijoru hostel where We took a nice boat ride and finally to Cabo de la Vela at the Apalanchi hostel where we hiked to Cerro de la Virgen and visited the eye of the water. On the way to Rioacha we stopped for lunch at the Jipialu ranch where Mrs. Teolinda gave us the opportunity to get to know the Wayuu culture with an immersion experience in the culture, highly recommended. We recommend the agency, it is very difficult to do logistics in this field that is so forgotten and needed but it deserves to be known and it was excellent for us!!! thanks for everything

I decided to take this tour to see the Macuira natural reserve, which is a sacred land for the Wayuu, a culture that I found extremely interesting. The views of the dunes in Macuira are spectacular, and the tour includes places such as taroa dunes, the Macuira reserve, Punta Gallinas, boat trips to nearby islands to see sunsets, it includes meals which I found very delicious to the degree. of just wanting to go back to that place for the food. The journey is very treacherous because there are no roads or signs to get there, but the agency staff knows the area well and solved all the mishaps that arose. Throughout the trip, both Andrea and Jimmy explain the area and the Wayuu customs and traditions. There is also coexistence in the Media Guajira with Wayuu people. I recommend this tour without a doubt.

A surprise from minute 1. Despite being a very poor place, La Guajira is spectacular!! Full of magic, charm, music and culture.
We loved the tour, it is intense, many places in 3 days, the transfers are exhausting but it is 100% worth it. Follow all the recommendations that you will later understand are very accurate. Prepare for variations in the itinerary according to weather forecasts and road conditions. To improve, the daily clothing provision and payment facilities from abroad.
Sleeping in the rancherías in the middle of the desert gives incredible peace. The meals are very well chosen, very fresh fish and seafood. Unforgettable landscapes!!
Our guide Jimmy (highly recommended), a real luxury, a guajiro descendant of Wayuu, moved like a fish in water, very proud of his land and knowledgeable about the culture, he conveys to you the scenic of the guajiro. He was always very attentive and interested in making sure you lived the experience to the fullest.
Although we had doubts about security, we never had a feeling of insecurity with our belongings either in the 4x4 or in the hostels.
Guajira Tours super recommended!! We will be back!! Because Guajira is like a good coffee, you have to enjoy it sip by sip.

Excelente experiencia la q tuve al lado de mi hijo y familia. Sin lugar a duda una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida…me hicieron sentir más Colombiano q nunca. Un viaje lleno de aventuras y un servicio al cliente invidiable. Carlos y Emir fueron muy cortes, profesionales y amigables en todo el trayecto. Sin lugar a duda volveré una vez más MUY pronto y sin duda los volveré a escoger. Gracias por enseñarme lo bella que es la Guajira…simplemente mágica.

Es un lugar mágico! Los guías saben mucho. Vas a encontrar con la comunidad indígena y es muy auténtica. La comida siempre es delicioso y los carros muy comodos.

HI, the tour to Alta Guajira (Cabo de la Vela and Punta Gallinas) is a tour for 3 days. Start at 8:30am in Riohacha and finish over 4 - 4:30pm.
The tour include: All meals, private o grupal tour, visits all the places in Cabo de la Vela and Punta Gallinas, the desert, 1 night in Cabo de la Vela and 1night in Punta Gallina.

Bueno el precio que pagamos realmente para todo lo que recibimos fue muy económico, Guajira Tour tiene programas establecidos pero también le organizan sus vacaciones de acuerdo a sus gustos el personal es increíble no escatiman esfuerzos ni detalles para q uno se sienta mejor q en casa el guía, los conductores, el personal de la oficina y de los lugares que visitamos todos super amables serviciales de verdad Guajira Tour super recomendado
