My husband and I spent a fantastic week with Phillip and Jude in the Rhône valley last fall. We met a variety of vintners from large operations to tiny. We will never forget the food, accommodations, and people that made this trip special.

Wow, what a glorious and rejuvenating week at Mourchon with Philip and Jude. I want to return soon!
I have to be honest, I knew nothing about wines and was very intimidated about this trip in the planning stage, but OMG! I learned so much about wines and winemaking but also about culture, history, politics, geography, and hospitality!
Philip and Jude were perfect hosts. The food and drink was ‘to die for’ and so plentiful! Philip and Jude had established friendships throughout the region and because of this, we were warmly welcomed everywhere we went! Our accommodations were perfect and the setting glorious!
Philip and Jude, thank you for sharing with me a wonderful week! Your warmth will remain with me!

We absolutely love our time exploring the wineries of the Southern Rhone region in Provence with Philip and Jude. We have spent a number of holidays taking their tours, and each time we learn so much more! No matter where an individual's wine knowledge is within the group, Philip is thoroughly adept at providing information and insights to broaden everyone's understanding. You can also tell his relationship with the local winemakers is one of sincere mutual respect and enthusiasm as they share why they love what they do and why they are so enthralled with the uniquely fascinating area they live and make wine in. Philip and Jude also create a completely encompassing experience - with amazing accommodations, fantastic food - often created by Jude, and of course excellent region and winery tours - all done in a very relaxed, congenial environment. Philip and Jude are a warm, wonderful couple to spend time with and are wholly respectful and caring to ensure everyone is having a great time. We always enjoy our time with them, come away with a deepening understanding of this beautiful region and enthusiastically look forward to our next visit!

We have toured with Rhone Wine Holidays six times since 2011.....need I say more? We are wine and food lovers from CA and have loved experiencing French wine and food through Philip and Jude. Our first 5 stays were in their previous home in Malaucene, and on our most recent trip we stayed in a winery home in Seguret. Philip's knowledge of wine, and his relationship with wine makers, enabled us to have intimate wine-tasting experiences not available to everyone. Jude is an extraordinary cook, creating wonderful dinners for us to enjoy after an "arduous" day of wine-tasting and touring the southern Rhone valley towns. Groups are always small. In our experience, we've had anywhere from four to eight people. If you like Rhone wines or just want to learn more about them, this is the tour to take!

This was my third trip to Provence to spend time with Philip and Jude. Philip has access to some of the very best wineries in the area and we tasted so many wonderful vintages. Each time I have gone, we have visited different places and the food prepared by Jude is marvelous. There was nothing that wasn't delicious. The last trip was five nights and so relaxed with a group of six of us - all repeat guests. Philip's knowledge is incredible. The home where we stayed was spectacular with incredible views. I can't wait to get back for my fourth visit!!

Our group of five had a wonderful three night stay at La Madelene between Vaison and Malaucene in the Cote du Rhone region of Provence. Jude and Phillip provide a quality experience in their villa which began as a monastery in 1185. Breakfast is delicious and local and we did have a memorable dinner courtesy of the cooking skills of Jude. Phillip is a knowledgeable wine tour guide, providing us with intimate tours of local wineries. I recommend La Madelene and Rhone Wine holidays highly.
