Visto da fuori.

Si affaccia su piazza della Repubblica, originariamente denominato “della Concordia”, venne edificato tra il 1790 e il 1798 e dedicato al compositore nato ad Jesi. Ogni anno in città si svolge un festival dedicato a colui che è stato uno dei maggiori musicisti del barocco italiano. Peccato non essere potuti entrare.

Abbiamo visitato questo bel teatro accompagnati da una signora (costo 2 €) che ci ha anche fornito informazioni sulla storia del teatro e del musicista/compositore jesino Pergolesi. Interessante.

In der italienischen Provinz Marken gibt es noch 75 historische Theater, die Zeugen einer Opernbegeisterung im 19. Jahrhundert sind. In der vitalen Kleinstadt Jesi behauptet sich das "Pergolesi"mit einem abwechslungsreichen Live-Programm.

Quite a poor New Year's concert

The theatre was as beautiful and as atmospheric as it was on my previous visit but sadly I didn't enjoy the concert I went to this time at all. It was a New Year's concert. The orchestra were fine but I found the soprano absolutely unbearable. She seemed to just scream everything at the top of her lungs. A few notes were really "ouch". The exaggerated acting and gesticulating soon became very annoying. Maybe it was just me but I was glad when it was over. It wouldn't stop me from going again but this was not good at all in my view.

UN VERO "TEATRO DI TRADIZIONE"

Teatro di tradizione ossia legato alla musica, in particolare l'operistica, il solo situato in una città - Jesi - non capoluogo di provincia. Un ambiente meraviglioso, accogliente, con personale efficiente, dai tecnici agli uscieri, con un'acustica (quasi) perfetta. Davvero merita: consiglio di cercare di accaparrarvi un posto in una qualsiasi rappresentazione, drammaturgica o musicale. I costi degli ingressi sono modici. Vale a prescindere, insomma! Ve lo consiglia una persona che ci è stato più volte lungo gli anni... Per una visita, ossia fuori dalle rappresentazioni, occorre prenotare.

Il teatro Pergolesi oltre ad essere bello fuori, dentro e'ancora' più bello ed e vanta ( teatro di TRADIZIONE) una acustica eccezionale che lo vede 2o migliore in Italia dietro al teatro di Parma.

Una gemma tra i teatri italiani!
Non lo conoscevo ed è stata una vera sorpresa.
All'ingresso un ambiente senza grosse pretese, ma con quell' atmosfera avvolgente che ti coccola senza mettere soggezione.
Poi si entra in platea e ci si trova in uno spazio raccolto e caldo che continua a farti sentire perfettamente a tuo agio.
Infine alzi lo sguardo e vedi il soffitto mirabilmente decorato.
Un teatro che non intimorisce ma rassicura.
Ci tornerò.

A very pleasant evening

It's amazing to find such a beautiful well maintained theatre in such a small unassuming town. The ceiling and curtain are lovely. The seating is okay. The acoustics aren't the best but I guess that's to be expected. I went to see cellist Umberto Clerici. I liked the Rossini but found the Schubert a bit dull. There was also a modern Italian piece I don't know which was good too. I found the guy's weird face pulling a bit distracting and there were rather a lot of encores which felt a bit forced but an interesting piece with Arabic influences did emerge from it. I've been to grander theatres but I had a really nice time and am rating this one accordingly.

Bel Teatro con ottima musica

Questo teatro domina la piazza principale di Iesi, P.zza della Repubblica ai cui lati sono presenti diversi ristoranti e bar. Il Teatro all'interno della piazza crea un bell'effetto sopratutto ai visitatori che vengono da fuori. Consiglio a tutti di andare a vederci uno spettacolo all'interno, è veramente molto bello e possiede un fascino particolare. Il teatro varie volte all'anno propone diversi concerti di buone orchestre o spettacoli di lirica molto interessanti. L'acustica è di buon livello.
