Owen was great, full of interesting facts and knowledge of the stars and planets. I had never looked through a proper telescope before so didn’t know what to expect. It’s obviously not what you see on NASAs Facebook page but still pretty incredible and real, not just an artists concept. Even my 2 and 4 year old kids enjoyed the experience.

Go on a first date to this place. It's eccentric, authentic but the main thing was the amount of stars that were set up to be seen. Amazing telescopes and opportunity to view beauty in the skies. Also, saw a crap load of surveillance satellites passing across the lens and the skies. Man was very informative and a wealth of information. Heaps of chairs set up that need cleaning.

An entertaining, insightful evening with a passionate astronomer. Heaps of night targets to see including Saturn, Jupiter, the moon and several stars. Great guidance on starting out with home astronomy and equipment you'll need. Incredibly generous with his time and knowledge too. Heaps to see and learn!

Very sad that the person in charge has zero interest to run this experience, we have tried many times to book and he is never keen to open even on clear skies!
No friendly actirif and even when it says that it closes at 9pm we have been turn away just after 7pm.
Would recommend this at all.hopefully they change the management

Owen and his team are super knowledgeable and welcoming... what a great experience, first we cooked up a bbq meal whilst having a casual look at the moon and Venus, after which we enjoyed Owen's full tour and stargazing explanations. Absolutely unique experience that should be sponsored at a larger scale. Thank you Own for being the highligyt of our QLD stay.

What an amazing experience, one of my greatest stargazing nights ever! Owen knows everything about the night- and day sky and keeps it interesting for everyone. He also has the best equipment (32 telescopes if i'm not wrong), so you are able to see the tiniest parts of the sky in detail.

As my son has always been interested in rockets and astronomy i thought what better place to go than an observatory.
it was a nice day and the presenter had such great knowledge of telescopes and astrology. as we did the day tour we got to see the sun with different filters,
will definitely go back and do the night tour.

I love nature. Onenof the things I love is going to a place with water falls and listenning to the water dropping on the ground. Sadly when we went tobthis place it was dry. No falls seen. No water falling from the mountain.

We enjoyed a fabulous time as a family learning about the night sky and all fascinating world of astronomy. A great setup with an passionate astronomer. We will definitely go back for more nights.
