If you want to experience the thrill of Irabu Ohashi again somewhere else, here is it.
It is slightly more sober than Irabu Ohashi Bridge, but you can enjoy Miyako blue from the train window.
Near the Snow Salt Museum.

About 3 minutes, maybe?

Ikema Ohashi Bridge makes you feel like you're crossing the sea.
About 3 minutes? It was shorter than I expected, so if you want to take pictures, make sure you have your camera ready early.
We had the bus from City Hall to the Ikema Island loop line to ourselves, so we were able to take a 180-degree video. There was a warning sign on the bus not to move while it was moving.
Sit in your seat and take your picture.

A rather modest bridge

This is an important bridge connecting Miyako Island and Ikema Island. If you pass by it after the Irabu Bridge, it gives off a slightly dull impression. On a clear day, I think the view of the ocean from the bridge is amazing.

The best Miyako blue!

Ikema Ohashi Bridge is the perfect driving course. The weather was perfect on the day we went, and the sea was an unbelievable blue! We crossed the Kurima Ohashi Bridge and the Irabu Ohashi Bridge, and took the final bridge drive to Ikema Island, but personally, I thought the color of the sea seen from Ikema Ohashi Bridge was the most beautiful. You can see Ogami Island with the naked eye, which really lifts your spirits.
The sea at Ikema offers the most beautiful contrast between the "sun and the sea."
It's truly Miyako blue♪

The sea on both sides is beautiful

It was one of the sea bridges that stretches from Miyako Island.

It's in the northern part of Miyako Island, so even though it's flat, renting a bicycle from the city center left me feeling quite tired.

The ocean visible from both sides of the bridge is beautiful, and I was able to see the whole picture from the plane flying overhead. I was also able to see both the bridge and Ikema Island from Irabu Island, which is on the opposite shore.

I rented an open-top car in Miyakojima to cross the bridge.

This is a bridge that connects Miyakojima to Ikemajima. I rented an open-top car in Miyakojima to cross this bridge. All the bridges across the sea in Okinawa are nice, but this one is particularly long and the sea is beautiful and nice, and there is space to park the car on both sides, so I recommend it.

A magnificent panoramic view

Of all the bridges around Miyakojima, this is my favorite.
The clear blue sea and sky are stunning wherever you look.
Just before Ikema Island, there is a parking lot and an open space with a spectacular view, and once you cross Ikema Island there is a drive-in where the view is also amazing.

The sea is beautiful

A bridge connecting Miyakojima and Ikemajima. It was near evening, so there were not many people or cars and the sea was beautiful.
There is a rest area on the Miyakojima side where you can take a panoramic photo. There is also a drive-in Mozuku on the Ikemajima side, which is convenient.
