Very nice but little beach , off season it's okay otherwise you step on it ... It's time for Porquerolles to restrict access.

Beautiful beach on the coast overlooking the French coast; small pebbles, clear and sloping waters in a quiet way. C is reached from the main road and has about 5 accesses; the first unfortunately is closed and therefore it is better to go towards the central ones. Great to do in the morning when the sun is frontal (in the afternoon it goes in the shade)

The beach is beautiful from a distance but you have to walk 1km to be able to settle there because it has become too narrow on the first half.
Waste is everywhere on the sand and in the water. We are sold a natural and unspoilt setting but dozens of boats have the right to throw ink there without worrying about the seabed. In addition, smoking is not allowed on the island and there are plenty of butts in the sand. It was supposed to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe a few years ago but this popularity has since damaged its cleanliness and beauty.

Very sad , how this beach is left in the late afternoon (we were there especially later, because then most tourists are already gone) by thanBadegösten. Lots of garbage and leftover food... Generally, this beach is not as idyllic as in the advertising photos. Sure, the water looks great, but that's it. Dozens of ships are anchored off the beach and there is a fence to the adjacent forest. Unfortunately, we were looking for Caribbean feeling here in vain. But Porquerolles has many other beaches, many hidden but beautiful.

Paradise beach, fine white sand, lovely sea, calm and shallow and sandy (if you move the sand a little to the surface you will discover beautiful and almost black sand), highly recommended to arrive early to rent bikes (19€ normal, 45€ electric, 1€ basket, about 30 min to get to the beach) and have the beach almost to yourself (very long but narrow beach).
Unique in: too many horseradish, difficult to relax under the umbrella, and boats too close to the shore with dinghies that dump tourists directly on the beach.

Disappointing! I had been there five years ago and couldn't find anything from my previous experience. The beach is narrow, the sand has totally disappeared to make way for rocks! The place is non-existent during periods of high traffic. The beach nevertheless remains very beautiful as evidenced by the color of the water and the setting that remains "paradise".

Beach small in width , lots of pebbles and no sand. A lot of people. Quite frankly go to the silver beach with certainly people but transparent water, crystal clear and thin SAND is still better. However, we think we should go out of season because there are really too many people.

The independent and most serious site the Belle Plage class Notre Dame has the 1630 -th place out of 1850 in France, in the category "not recommended" for the poor quality of its water. What more to say, I have been alerting on this site for years on the state of the beaches of Porquerolles. The hundreds of Taons are not here by chance. As long as we leave 300 boats at anchor, dozens of dogs every day, we will bathe in dirty water, whether it is crystalline or not, brackish water can be clean and crystal clear water proves filthy. The Park must act against incivilities and marine overcrowding

We rented bikes to get to the island, in half an hour you arrive and the route is easy, the road is shaded. The beach is wonderful and the sea crystal clear

Pros: clear water and lagoon color
Pros: a lot of pebbles, there is a sandy area at the end of the beach (away from the port); presence of many insects (I don’t know the name) similar to flies that bite (doesn’t leave traces or scratch) and try to land on us all the time.
Trip Tip: obviously come as early as possible in the summer, around 09h there are still few people

Bonjour,
Les chiens ne sont pas acceptés sur les plages de Porquerolles et de Hyères. Ils peuvent quand même venir sur l'île mais tenus en laisse.

Ns pensions ns y rendre Avec deux enfants en bas âges un an et trois ans
Pensez vs que cela soit adapté ?

Oui effectivement envahie de taons sur les plages
Impossible de rester sur le sable
Baignade obligatoire
