Parked up to walk my dogs then enjoy a
Meal , beer with friends and family as usual on a Sunday. Owner was rude to me (again) and said I can’t park in his car park if I wasn’t using his pub straight away. Would have spent £100+ as usual: won’t be going again, there is no need to be so unfriendly.

I have visited this place before with friends and we went back again. It’s a lovely walk along the waters edge, you see plenty of boats and the bowed out to sea are great. There are pubs, cafes, kiosks and a car park there, so you can sit outside one and enjoy the surroundings. Lots of dog walkers and people walking.

Nice walk along the river and canal and lots of boats to see. There is a pub there and a lovely looking kiosk cafe which was shut when we were there. Parking nearby was ok too. We paid for an hour by app

Parking a total rip off!! Parked up to meet friends, changed our shoes and paid for 3 hours parking using the App. Returned to our car within 3 hours, having checked on the App so we didn’t exceed our 3 hours, changed our shoes and said goodbye to friends. We received a fixed penalty notice a week later for being 16 minutes over our time - it seems that the car park registers your entrance and exit by camera - we didn’t see any signage to that effect and have never known a car park to do this unless it gives you a ticket on entry. The App gives no warning to this effect. As we have the App on our phone we didn’t go right up to the board to look for any small print - we simply did as we normally do and paid for the time we left our car. Seems like a miserable trick to get money out of visitors! Other visitors have been caught out just by driving in and straight out again as the car park was full!! Beware!!

Good experience with rip off RingGo parking App charging additional fees to the machine that’s located at the far end of parking bays near the water.

Daisey Meadow Car park is NOT free , JULY 22 Charges £1 for one hour rising to £5 for 24 hours. Payment is by means of debit/credit card or the Ringo phone app. Cannot find anything on Disabled Parking so presume pay as well

Quaint harbour and canal. Two pubs. Nice walk along sea wall. Rustic charm. Interesting views of Mladon, the sea and sailing boats and old barges when the tide is in. Can swim off the sea wall in summer and sometimes see seals.

I had a meal here last week with my Mum and my niece and I can't recommend the place highly enough!

Really enjoyed visiting however the downside was that there were no public toilets. Badly needed as visitors don't all want to visit one of the two pubs and have to buy drinks etc in order to use their facilities

Like this pub. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice area and dog friendly. Good prices for drinks. Good size car park.

Yes as no problem, your dog will love it, try walking along the sea wall towards the Mill Beach Pub (20 to 30 minutes) & if your really enjoy a walk continue towards Osea Island.(45 to 60 minutes) If you're really adventureous you could continue towards Goldhanger lovely walk (about 2 hours) and you can stop off for a pub lunch or snack along the way !!

ot sure you can get a licence but there is plenty of access to water for a kayak or a canoe.
