Waratah Bay is simply stunning... sandy beaches offering peace and quiet. Waratah Bay was named after a ship the Waratah which anchored here for repairs when damaged.
If you are looking for an area that is not inundated with tourists and commercial traps.. .then this is it. Public amenities are available.

Lovely shaded picnic grounds with parking for around 20 cars and a good playground. Also features clean toilets. Right across road is entry too Waratah beach
