Beautiful beach with local facilities and great for surfing. The coastal path goes past the beach and provides extra exercise as well as a different view.

This is a fabulous beach. beautiful soft sand, tide goes out a long way, so oodles of beach to play on. We particularly went for the crabbing, rocks and caves. Great fun, whatever age you are !!!! Shops on the road have everything you need. Would recommend getting to the beach mid morning as parking can be limited.

Great family friendly beach with lots of room to find your own space. Very helpful and friendly RNLI lifeguards. Lots of shops and pubs for coffees, lunches and supplies within walking distance. Really generous red/yellow area for swimming and bodyboarding but this is at the expense of the surfing area, which is very narrow, especially at high tide.

Great beach to visit.
We visited because it is dog friendly all year round.
Lots of space on the beach. Caves and rock pools to explore too.
Cafes and shops nearby.
Was very busy but didn't feel cramped.
I'd advise getting there early as only seemed to 2 car parks, both were busy.
We'll definitely be visiting again.

First time visiting this beach and couldn't fault the place the beach was lovely and clean with plenty of space , get there early for parking

The great thing about Mawgan Porth beach is the ease of access. My wife is blind but still likes the beach and there is no steps access from the car parks right on to the beach. The sea goes out a long way which means that it can be a fair walk to reach the sea but it is a good surfing beach. The shops, cafe and pub adjoin the beach which means you can get most things you need during the day. Parking can get very busy at peak times.

A great find. The parking is great. The beach is amazing and dog friendly. A great place to take photos. We found a nice cafe for a drink after. We had a wonderful walk.

We visited in Whitsun holidays so it was understandably busy but this little area copes so well with the level of people that descend.
The car park fills early but it’s worth getting there to get a spot and walking as far as you can across the beach to get a quieter spot. The entrance and first 100m stays quite busy but further down by the rocks is like a different part of the beach
Several shops and places to get coffee as well as a great pub. Really recommend the noodle guy who is there Tues and thurs-Sat from 5-8. Delicious!
The little supermarket type shop does amazing food for lunch so don’t despair if you turn up with nothing they have a great selection

Hi, there's a car park right opposite the beach - they do tend to put the prices up during holiday season mind you. The entrance is right next to Betty's newsagents.
