Nous étions un petit groupe de 6. La visite était en anglais vraiment super. Très très enrichissant. La dégustation un régal.
On a fait un vrai tour et appris également énormément sur les plantes que ça soit du coin ou médicinale.
Vraiment un super guide! Un super endroit. Je recommande +++

Excellent tour!

Excellent tour lasting about 2 hours. Our guide Angel provided lots of super interesting information about this property with over 6500 cacao bean trees - as well as banana trees, a rubber tree and many other surprises along the way. Highly recommend visiting - the tour concludes with a delicious chocolate drink! Both our kids enjoyed a lot (ages 11 and 13). Many cool plants and experiences on this tour.

Everything to know about making chocolate (and more)

Fantastic tour of cocoa/chocolate process and other assorted flowers, plants, and organic food from them. This tour paired well with a separate wildlife tour we did about 20 minutes away. Plan on a couple hours here. Must do if in area.

Quel merveilleux moment passé avec l’équipe de l’exploitation et en particulier avec Axel qui a su avec professionnalisme et humour nous faire partager sa passion pour les plantes et les arbres! Excellente ambiance, nous recommandons la visite de Three Chocolate à 200%. Merci infiniment !

Experiencia educativa y muy recomendable

Una experiencia buenísima. Fuimos con mis hijos adolescentes, el tour dura mas de hora y media. Nuestro guia nos explicó sobre plantas medicinales, cocoteros y arbol de cacao, explicaciones muy educativas y entretenidas para los niños. Al final te ofrecen un batido de cacao ( con el precio de la entrada). Hay una pequeña tienda con chicolates de producción propia y productos locales. Sin duda lo recomiendo ya viajen con niños o no.

Great experience

I can't praise this place enough. It is a great experience and educational. The tour guides are very knowledgeable, and spoke English. We learned about chocolate production but also about coconuts, pepper, vanilla, native aboriginal plant use plus much more. Walked through the jungle (spotted a sloth) saw trees that are 100s of years old. Heard lots of birds and insects. Well worth the drive.

Great tour, amazing chocolate!

The cacao plantation tour was great, guide was very knowledgeable in cacao, from growth to chocolate production, in various plants and flora.
We had an amazing milk cacao drink, made definitely with love.
The shop offered a variety of chocolates and cacao powder. We bought some to enjoy at home. The best chocolate!

Lehrreich und lecker

Eine tolle Führung mit dem kompetenten Führer Angel, der uns neben der Kakaoplantage auch viele andere Pflanzen wie Pfeffer, Lemongras, Avocado usw. zeigte. Wir durften vieles probieren (Kokossaft, Kakao, Zuckerrohrsaft…). Sehr empfehlenswert!

Favorite part of Tenorio

We loved the whole experience. We had a lovely, very funny (as most Costa Rican tour guides turned out to be) tour guide, who showed us a lot of plants. We were actually surprised how much knowledge he had, we especially loved the electric plant he gave us to try haha. We found all the guys there very pleasant and welcoming, we learned a lot about chocolate productions and their forest, we got to tried a lot of different fruits. We would recommend visiting this property 100%. Just bring your own insect repellent so you don't have to buy one for $15. ;)

Viel mehr als nur Kakao - auf jeden Fall mitnehmen!

Sehr interessante Führung durch die Kakaoplantage, aber es gibt darüberhinaus noch super viele Informationen über jede Menge anderer Pflanzen mit Live Tasting und guten Geschichten. Am Ende gibt es ein Kostprobe des Kakao. Absolut kurzweilige 3h Tour
