Agree with last reviewer. It is a hidden gem and worth the visit. Beers are good quality, clean flavours and well made. Wine & Beer maker made us feel welcome and was thoroughly engaging. A great place to go and buy!

We decided to go for a drive to find this brewery it’s tucked away amongst farming area but well worth the visit . The host was great at the time we were the only ones there so he stopped his mowing and made us feel very welcome. Great beer as well which made it worth the drive

Dropped in on the way home from a day in Glenrowan as we saw the signs on the way. Grabbed ourselves a paddle of samplers and walked out with a six pack.

Excellent cellar door set up from family owned and run vineyard and brewery. Had great chat over beer tasting and the beers were really good too. Big fan of the 'lazy dog'. Bought a mixed slab to take away and have vowed to return, though next time i'll try the wines too. Be great to stay (for the night) on the premises if possible in the future.

Our black dog in the Black Dog brewery. Fabulous tasting of wines and beers, great prices to buy too. The Indian Black Ale was delicious as was the Rose albeit obviously polar opposites.

Located at Booth's Taminick Cellars, family winery of 4 generations. James Booth is a masterful brewer who takes his craft seriously and produces some excellent beers. The old cellar door is a perfect venue for his products as well as the excellent wines which need to be tried. All are reasonably priced. The outside area is really pleasant and relaxing. When we were there there was a pizza oven serving very nice looking pizza's, a musician cranking out some good tunes and a lot of people having a great time. Well worth a visit.

Had a fabulous day sampling and buying wines in the Glenrowan region until we got to black dog brewery. Were served by a gent that really didn’t want to be there with 0 people skills, he was so unhappy and felt like we were to much trouble to be there...... asked questions about the beer which he answered with 1 or two words, said there was no free samples ( we didn’t expect any ) really put a damper on what was a great day with great customer service in the area, actually pretty disappointing for a owner. Very pretty outlook for a cellar door

We had a fantastic afternoon sampling the craft beers and some nice Shiraz, there’s something for everyone and we wish we took more home with us. We took our own nibbles, set up a picnic and were made most welcome by family craftsmen and custodians of this beautiful Estate. Nothing could beat watching the sun go down across the hills and over the vines. Take us back to Taminick and the Black Dog Brewery !!!

This place differs from many other breweries as it was a winery at first and you can tell, It's not centrally located so it takes a bit to find, however once you find it it's worth the trip! The location is beautiful, there is space for the kids to run free and the beers, well the beers are just great! I grabbed a tasting paddle of the beers available on tap and then made sure to grab a mixed 6pack of the beers I didn't get to try. Highly recommended!

We visited black dog brewery today. A little out of the way but well worth the effort. Four excellent beers on tap amongst the best in the region.
