Friendly Squirrels, however they found some drugs a homeless man left lying around 😡😡 They don’t deserve this more needs to be done to clean up the park

Stepped in dog poo it stank so much, luckily I washed my shoe in a burger bun underneath Castle place which they then served up to a customer

Beautifully tucked away in a lovely village , really nice feel to the place with plenty to do and see , it’s busy but not with too many people

What a great small town park and so well looked after. Also very well used. It has so much to see from the impeccably maintained war memorial to a very popular children playground ( great swings and rides). We loved the avenue of lime (?) trees that led down to the ducks on the river Avon, but there was so much more - mini golf, clay court tennis, and a great expanse ( for a town centre) just to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Good little cafe , and a beautiful "sensory garden. Free / cheap parking nearby and a shopping / entertainment / restaurants just across the road.
It is a great family and friends place.

We enjoyed the play area and a game of crazy golf and the large grassed areas were perfect for a game of frisbee.
There was a group of characters gathered drinking alcohol from 10am, they didnt cause an problems but did leave us feeling less relaxed when we crossed paths.

The grandchildren wanted to run about, as they do, so we let them run in the park. Up to the bandstand where we had spent a happy summer listening to local groups and singers. A slow and smiling round of crazy golf followed by a quick game of tennis when they showed us what they had learnt at school. The large play area full of swings, climbing frames and assorted play equipment beckoned. The area by the fenced off stream is sometimes used by the travelling fair, and is packed with military memorabilia and tanks in June/July. We ended with an ice cream dessert in one of the nearby eateries.

Beautiful place to walk around , pond with ducks in , shops located in the park , they have a lot of avents in the park too , lovely in the summer to see people havin picnics and children playin ball and in the park with swings etc .

Sadly, this park has become darkened by feral kids. Looking for trouble. Some with knives.
This used to be a nice little place to take your children but unfortunately I would definitely not recommend this to families anymore. Sad, but lack of policing and no cctv makes it a crime haven.
