Il castello è’ molto bello internamente…fuori non dice granché però siamo capitati in un periodo di ristrutturazione ed avremmo gradito un biglietto leggermente più basso vista l’impossibilità di vedere le facciate e la pala d’altare. Le pareti e le volte affrescate sono comunque davvero suggestive

Joined guided tour in Italian although I don’t spesl the language. Each room has explanation in English so it was not a problem but want to give special thanks to the guide who made sure I found the texts and arranged the tour so that I was able to listen the audio parts. The castle in itself was much richer what I expected and more to see as restorations progress.

Beautiful castle! Visited all, but this deserves a mention, including frescoes and furnishings. Very good guide 'castle really lovely.

I visited this castle with a guide and I really appreciated how well preserved it is (also thanks to the restoration work still in progress). The original frescoes are remarkable! During the visit there was also a period performance going on in the outdoor garden that gave more atmosphere to the whole.

Recommended as one of the most beautiful castles in the area, we decided to take a guided tour.
In fact the castle is very interesting and well maintained, with the interior rooms also partially furnished.
What convinced us less was the guide, which was not very appealing and sometimes it was hard to hear.

Too bad the restoration ruins the exterior of the castle and courtyard. But the interior chambers, the furnishings, the ceilings, the fireplaces, the walls, the furniture, everything is just wonderful. A very good tour.

Beautiful castle with furnishings and beautiful frescoes. Too bad that the Guide was a bit 'synthetic, could have added a few more details to make the visit more engaging.

I can only positively recommend this visit for the kindness of the staff, the exceptional guided tour and the many wonders of the castle. The girl who was our Guide, great. Highly recommended.

Quanto dura in media la visita? Sia quella ridotta al solo castello, sia quella inclusa con Avondo?

Circa 1/2 ora per la visita al Castello, che e' sempre guidata. Altrettanto per la visita all'Avondo, che e' " seguita " , non guidata. Ma la voce narrante dei proiettori all'interno spiega molto bene, con narrazione ed immagini tutta la storia. Merita farle entrambe.

No, il parcheggio è molto vicino al cancello di entrata.
Si accede alla biglietteria per un vialetto che costeggia il castello, l'ingresso è di fronte alla biglietteria.
