A nice building with a big green garden. Although the garden not kept well!
Two floors museum, one floor of archeological discoveries and one floor of music instruments.
Many labels had issues!
The Rezakhan king s Cars not well in display!
Could be great to have a coffee shop to sit and have a cup of tea.
Too silent museum!

Harandi museum is at the center of kerman city , it is attractive place specially for old people. Beautiful yard with tall tree's and ancient things. You can enjoy with them.

Make sure that your guide make an arrangement for you to be able to see the fossils museum as well. It is a small place in a corner of Harandi museum. The fossils are extraordinarily and the man who actually found them in the mountains around Kerman is there, also the music instruments museum is rich and complete.

If you are interested in history and art make sure to visit the museum. there is many Iranian traditional musical instruments and many unique objects discovered from Shahdad and Jiroft city. visiting the museun really helps you to have a better understanding of the Shadad city when you are in it. in this case you enjoy your journey more.

Harandy museum is a unique museum which is located at a large garden quite close to the city centre of Kerman. The main building has two floors and in either you can visit chambers dedicated to a special category, e.g. musical instruments, environment, stones, etc. Expect spending about an hour or so.

it has a very different environment, the yard is as good as museums, lots of awesome musical instruments, and the second floor is also cool with all that ancient stuff

The place is interesting for those who are a fan of history. There are 3 museums in there. The archaeological museum of Kerman, Music instruments museum. There is also a third museum. The fossil museum, It's an unofficial museum and the whole collection is provided by a single man. He gathered his collection hust out of interest.

A visit to this place shows you to the richness of musical skills of Iranians, its history and depth of interest among the nation in regards to music.
Rarely you can see a place with such rich collection of musical instruments. You learn a lot about the legacy of Iranian music here.
Don't forget to visit the second floor where the exquisit Jiroft and Shahdad items are on display.

Harandi Garden is one of the buildings of the Qajar era of the city, with the presence of two "archeological" and "traditional instruments" museums that have made it more credible for Kermanians and traditional folk music and antiquities. This garden During the Qajar period, one of the masters of this period was founded by "Adal al-Saltanah" and sold in the year 1313 for 40 thousand tomans to the late Abolqasem Harandi, one of the most famous merchants of Kerman.
