Bir an önce önlem alınıp , geçip giden zaman içerisinde yok olması engellenmeli.

Hard to find, get to village from the man road, take the right from the small garage up hill) keep going uphill till it starts to level off and you get fork in the road, rake the right and at the end of the road is a rebuilt Roman gate on the left, and a house on the right.
Through the gate and walk, initially the large flagstones are missing then the road becomes clear.
Take water and enjoy the walk.... and wonder where the road stated and ended.
Well worth the effort to find. The way back was easier follow the road downhill, to the left drive through the active and massive quarry and your back on the main road.

tarsus a eski yoldan gelirken (pozantı üzerinden) kahverengi levhayı görüyorsunuz (roma yolu) girdiyseniz yandınız toprak yollar çatallaşıyor ve tabikii yön levhası yok.

This portion of Roman Road is not to be missed -- and it is more impressive than the section of Roman Road seen in Tarsus proper. Once you find it (continue reading for the directions -- and please view the photos to look for noted landmarks), you will be glad you took the time to visit. After you arrive and walk through the re-built Cilician Gate, at first glance, the 3 meter-wide road is missing a substantial number of stones, but as you continue, you find fewer and fewer missing. Continue walking to where the road peters out -- it is approximately 2 km in length.
There are several sections where the road borders a chain-link fence, several sections where it is destroyed and a gravel road covers it. No mind -- it is worth walking until you run out of road!
It is purported that Paul walked this road to Cappadocia -- no mind whether or not he did, it is an amazing thing to see; imagine the history of it, who walked it, were there chariots? Most everyone on foot? Wearing leather roman sandals and flowing robes?
Enjoy your time there -- apologies for not having the GPS coordinates, but the photos should help in your quest to find this amazing landmark.
Directions:
Driving west on the E90 to Mersin (from Adana), very soon after you pass the freeway that heads north to Pozanti, take the exit that says "Tarsus (Doğu) Çamtepe". After the quarter cloverleaf, you find yourself heading south (you want to go north). No worries -- at the first opportunity, make a U-turn and head north. You will see a small brown sign approximately 3-4 km up the road that says "Romo Yolu". Turn left when you see the road -- and you will go approximately 5 km to the village of Saglikli. The road meanders through the village, and there is an opportunity to take a 90 degree left-hand turn onto a dirt road, or to continue straight, up a slight hill. Take the hill. You drive approximately 2km before you see the olive tree in the photo -- turn right and proceed until you see the re-built Cilician Gate. Park wherever you wish -- the view to the plain below is lovely.
