It was quite an arduous trek to get up the top here, but the views from the apex made it all worthwhile. I took so many photographs that it was a wonder that my camera phone didn't wear out! It was ansunny but not too hot day so that was also a mercy.

Can’t believe I haven’t been there before. Wow. Fabulous views. Easy to get to. Although signage towards the end where the road takes a sharp turn to the left would have been good. Some rubbish left around. No bins .. but anyway… stunning views. No real safety rails so you need to be careful

2-3 hour walk in total, easy enough track. A couple of bigger hills but nothing too taxing. Made it just fine with running shoes. Views at the lookouts are worth it.

You should consider going if you have children in your group who don’t listen to instructions. There are no safety guards or rails etc, so it would be very easy for something to happen if kids are behaving themselves. Luckily, my friend had her kids under strict supervision.

An easy walk of around 300 mteres to rocky lookout over Nepean River and views to Blue Mountains. No handrails or security fencing so need to be careful and not a place for kids to run amuck. Good free parking at end of around 2km well maintained gravel road. No facilities at all. From the same starting point, is also a 5km roundtrip walk to Rileys Lookout along a fire trail.

Lovely lookout which I regularly attend! Simple walk with different terrains. Easy for young ages. Also not that popular so is nice for some peace and quiet

This lookout is spectacular....it is a short walk from a carpark and you need to be careful as there are no railings on the edge. The view is UNBELIEVABLE!

Get away from the well worn route to the Blue Mountains and try The Rock lookout. With very little effort you are rewarded with fantastic views of the Nepean River and over the lower reaches of the Blue Mountains NP. Take care with little ones as there are no safety barriers for curious individuals.

Love this spot the scenery is fantastic, it is well worth a visit. The views over the dam catchment area & some of the near by rock formations at very cool.

On a good day excellent view up and down the river. Take a picnic and enjoy some quite time. It is worth the drive.

There is a spot to the right of the gravel carpark.. Instead of taking the route/track off to your left you head to the right. There is a small steep track leading down to a lake + waterfall.. It's beautiful and serene. Please be advised that the climb down is quite steep and I would highly recommend you to wear joggers. Hope you find it.

Do not take your dog to the lookout, as pk and Louise said before, the lookout is located close to the Blue Mountains and a national reserve.
