The place is beautiful in any station. When I went, it was cold and raining, but it didn't wipe out the glow of the place. With fewer people around it was possible to walk and take lots of photos.

The lake is really suggestive and it is very nice to explore it along its shores. We recommend paying for the parking space in cash as making the payment you risk (as happened to us), being charged twice the amount. In fact, at the first payment it seems that it is not successful. Also, well highlighted it says: it will not be refunded in case of double payment...

Definitely worth at least a short stop along the road. If you have more time, getting out and walking is worth it. The overall scenery is very good and made better by the turquoise-hue of the water.

We approached the lake after seeing di Braies’ and of course the comparisons are odious (plus the sun was already gone).
🚘 There is parking for 2-3e to see the lake.
🚶🏽♀️ The lake is quite large and you can take a walk. It has restaurants on its banks possibly with very good views.
Come on if you miss this lake nothing happens, but it is big and has a certain charm!

Lake not very big but very nice, with wonderful colors. I think there's a trail that allows you to do the whole walk. We did a little over a quarter for lack of time. Beautiful color of the waters and reflection of the surrounding mountains. Place of peace and tranquility. It deserves a visit without less. Paid parking two minutes walk from the lake.

We stayed here for the holidays beautiful discovery the lake of Toblach beautiful water basin the place and nice to take you for a walk both day and evening shame about the parking prices 2 euros per hour

Pleasant walk around Lake Dobbiaco; the lake is located about 5 km from the center and can be easily reached on foot or by bicycle. The lake can be visited through a path that runs all around, the path is easy and accessible to children. The entire route is completed within 30 minutes or so.

The Alpine lake, which is about 3.5 kilometers from the village and has landslide origins, is nestled in the middle of the Dolomites mountains and offers a loop route to discover different views, such as some areas invaded by water (the lake has been buried over time).
There are explanatory panels on fauna and flora, as well as some paths leading to alpine pastures as well as a campsite and a bar restaurant where you can refresh yourself.

Beautiful mountain lake, you can do the whole tour, go on a boat excursion and stop for lunch in one of the clubs on the banks.
Easily accessible on foot from the village of Dobbiaco.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful mountain lake overlooking the "giant" a lake front mountain with a well outlined face of a person sleeping supine. Excellent restaurant serving great local food at affordable prices. You eat outside and dogs are welcome. Highly recommended

Io ci sono stata i primi di dicembre ed il percorso era più che agibile. Io non avevo passeggino ma, se il sentiero è come a dicembre ci puoi andare.

Certamente! C'è la linea Dobbiaco - Cortina. La fermata è proprio di fronte alla stazione.

Non ho calcolato la distanza ma è abbastanza vicino da fare una passeggiata in bici se non si vuol prendere l'auto, 3/4 km e comunque c'è un parcheggio pagando 3 € si può sostare tutto il giorno, poi si possono prendere percorsi e camminare abbastanza.

Certamente .è molto piu semplice del giro del lago di Brais.Ci sono anche delle spiaggette dove potersi fermare e dei ristoranti dove gustare una buona cucina.

Si può pescare, basta fare un permesso giornaliero, se nn ricordo male pero' c'è un limite di catture abbastanza basso.
