En séjour à Diani pour plusieurs semaines j’en ai profité pour reprendre le golf.
Quelques cours avec le Pro John Davis junior et c’est reparti.
Les fairways sont très bien entretenus. Les greens manquent de vitesse et sont de qualité très différente d’un trou à l’autre.
Le parcours est très plaisant à jouer avec quelques difficultés. Mais quel plaisir de jouer entouré de singes et d’oiseaux dans cet univers verdoyant et sauvage.
Le prix des green fees est très raisonnable (34€ pour 18 trous) auquel il faut ajouter le pourboire de la cady (800 Ksh).
Attention: les règlements en espèces ne sont pas acceptés ! Seules les cartes de crédit ou le paiement M-Pesa sont acceptés au club et au bar/restaurant.

Golf très intéressant, bien entretenu, pas cher, Caddey adorables ! Le seul bémol, l’accueil, pas aimable, ne veulent pas de paiement espèces ! On a fait trois dix huit trous( 34 euros) mais le jour où on a voulu faire que du practice, ils nous ont fait payer 10€ de droit au practice!

God service, og dygtige caddies. Ok fairways og greens, der er meget langsomme. En del aber på banen, men de flytter sig som du kommer fem til dem. Lille bar med serviceminded personale. Mulighed for let måltid

Buggy was broken on the 7th hole, no one cared, no replacement, no money

Both the range and the course are well managed. Tee boxes are in good shape with proper pictures of the hole. Some of the greens were under maintenance but overall they were in good condition. The course has lot of bunkers and couple holes where you have to start over water. The course is relatively level and there are only minor elevations. The caddy I had was really good and helped me a lot, especially since I am still a beginner. There are lots of baboons and some other monkeys on the course. The shop they have at the club is quite well stocked.

The Course is superb & the Layout is great along with challenging. Very friendly and helpful staff and Excellent Caddy. Well worth the trip to play. One thing I liked also was the Caddy were only Ladies. Upon asking why, the Starter advised that they want to promote Ladies and hence ladies Caddies. That's a commendable effort by the Golf Course.
If you are going for Holiday or happen to be Diani, Highly recommended to play and enjoy.

It was an great experience to play at the leisure golf club. The tee-boxes and fairways where great. The greens where not so great but okey. Good caddy, he helpt me to stay calm and don’t take risks.
The course was a beautifull pictures with a lot of monkeys. A golf safari.

Very reasonably priced green fees (~$25 USD for 18 holes) and a very knowledgeable caddy! (Shout out to Lucy!) Caddy fee is 800 Ksh (~$8, plus tip paid direct to caddy). Greens and fairways were on decent shape. No tee time necessary both days I played, though Lady's Tournament did require a start on #10 one day. No worries - got to play the whole course. Baboons and monkeys watching as you progress - really neat!
If you rent clubs, don't rent the 1,400 ksh sets as they are junk in junk bags! Rent the upper end newer clubs for 2,000 (~$20) which are not top of the line (Snake Eyes), but at least in good condition. Buy used balls outside the entrance of the course, too, as new balls, tees and gloves cost a fortune in the pro shop ($57 for a glove, a small bag of tees and a half dozen balls).

had the whole course for my-self.
as am a starter,i had to have a caddy.
i hired a car.
he also worked as my teacher and was very helpful.
i gave him great tip after.
all in all i had a fab day here.
fun to see the monkeys around the course.
ps.the green was very slow.

After being a member in 2007 I returned to play the first of what I hoped would be several rounds. The course was not in good shape. The tees and greens had not been cut in at least a week. Making a putt that was true was almost impossible. I really like the layout of the course but the conditions were simply very disappointing.

I am planning a visit to Diana Beach staying at the Baobab Beach Resort 19-25 Feb 2020. Visitors are me and my wife and 14 year old daughter who all would like to play golf one or two days during this period.Shall we take own golf clubs from Norway or rent everything at your facility. Can you provide information regarding the following:
Greenfee for the 3 of us
Cost to rent golf clubs (right hand for my wife and daughter and links clubs for myself)
Cost to pay for cart and caddie if required

Hi Bris,
If you are able to connect well with the Hired Golf Clubs, you can get the Clubs from Pro Shop, although I carried my from Nairobi in my Car, But it will be bit difficult for you to do so all the way from Norway.
The Green Fees for adult is 18 hole is 3850/- (Approx USD 38.5) and for Junior is KES 600 (aprox USD 6)
Caddie Fees 18 hole KES 800 (USD 8 Approx)
9 hole KES 500 (aprox USD 5) (Both Adult and Junior)
Cart charges is KES 3500 (Approx USD 35) for 18 Holes and for 9holes the Cart Charges is KES 2500 (Approx USD 25)
Clubs can be taken on rent. The charge for renting is 18 hole KES 2000 (aprox USD 20) and 9 Hole KES 1200/- (USD 12/-) Approx for both Adults and Junior.
It is better to tee-off early morning around 6:00AM so that you can finish before the sun become too difficult for you to finish the game.
Also I suggest to have Binoculars if you are keen in Bird Watching as the Golf Course is also home for Birds and paradise for Bird watcher.

E' mai possibile che una struttura come questa, dopo che ha provocato ad un giocatore gravi danni fisici causati dal travolgimento dello stesso da parte di un golf-car condotto inopinatamente e volontariamente da una caddy del Leisure Golf Cub, non risponda nè dei danni causati, nè ad alcun contatto tentato ? E' struttura priva di assicurazione e staccata da ogni regolamento golfistico nazionale o/e internazionale ? Pur appellandomi alle strutture legislative che regolano (o dovrebbero farlo) il gioco del Golf, le sue regole e l'incolumità,tutela e assistenza dei giocatori, consiglio chiaramente di non mettere piede in tale impianto, per loro incolumità e salute.
Temo sia un Golf fantasma, senza responsabili o responsabilità. Fatti del genere non accadono in nessun campo al mondo ! Evitate danni irreversibili e l'assordante silenzio alle richieste più che legittime di un contatto dopo l'incidente. Struttura pericolosa !
