The animals here are on to a winner, as are the owners - guests pay to feed animals! What a great business model!
I joke, but it is a clever set-up animal feed being (potentially) largely paid for by visitors keen to feed animals that are only all to eager to eat out of your hands. Kids love it, and experience great one on one interactions with animals.
Yes, it’s a bit run down, but that’s farming life for you - rough around the edges!
I do fear for the businesses that operate there in this current climate. A lot of prices were artificially high, and we didn’t make several purchases because of this.
Parking is a bit of a free for all, and not kind to your suspension. I’d like to see some tarmac go down and markings added. I’m sure a small fee to use it wouldn’t cause too much of a grumble when the actual farm experience itself is cheap, or even free if you don’t buy feed!

What a lovely place with so many other businesses on site.
We bought some sausages, chicken kebabs & sausage rolls from the farm shop.
We also stopped and had lunch at the cafe. The team were very friendly and accommodating and the food was nice
We were only passing through but can imagine the farm shop & businesses to be very popular especially the animals including donkeys, sheep etc

Please bring back the old café.
It used to be quaity food, quality cakes, great menu.
Since it has been taken over, it's crap. The cake selection is nowhere near what it used to be: no allergen friendly cakes any more (particularly no dairy-free) despite me questioning them about his a few times over the last couple of years. The old café always accommodated allergies. The cakes were amazing.
The menu is woeful.
The chips are awful- they used to do the best homemade chips.
Whilst the farm seems to be developing the café has regressed. Disappointing.

English breakfast components arrived crammed together into a cardboard (takeout meal ) box.
Toast was a soggy mashed pulp in the bottom, well beyond buttering.
Try it if you like the idea of eating mutilated food designed for a pigs trough.

On the occasions we have been here staff have made the experience a miserable one. People working there who don’t want to be there and the overall experience isn’t one that makes us want to come back.
Farm shop is poorly stocked and looks like it’s on the brink of closure. All hype and no substance.

What a great place for families of all ages. So much to see and do for the kids. You can feed the animals with tubs of feed or bags of carrots, ducks walking around you, kids play area, ice cream shop, small farm shop and butchery and many micro business's. The only down side was the café, yes it was 20 minutes from closing (not aware of the opening times) there is a lack of customer service skills and the way that I was told that "we are closing" was rude. Will it stop me from visiting again, no but will probably give the café as miss. Free parking and free admission, so will purchase from the farm shop and butcher again.

Shame about some of the staff! I have visited several times now & the staff I have encountered have no customer service skills! To put it politely. They are unfriendly and when having a query, response very terse & unwelcoming. Two experiences of this was in the shop & once in the cafe. It is a shame as I love visiting the animals. Left perplexed why staff so serious & rude?!?

What a lovely little cafe , very clean, bright and airy. We were shown to a table for two, nice menu, we chose the BLT sandwich and the Tuna salad sandwich, both had crisps on the side and two lattes, you have to order and pay at the counter. The staff were very helpful and polite. I can honestly say we will be back , and would highly recommend to anyone .

Visited this morning and I was with 4 children, one of which is coeliac I was just giving the children some food while my sister-in-law was buying coffee and a woman came over to tell us off about bringing our own food. I have to be so careful of food with my niece with gluten and cross contamination so sometimes bringing my own food is the only option. I understand there are rules in place but there are ways and means of talking to people, especially in front of children. We were all so upset after this we just wanted to leave. I suggest the woman in question learns how to talk to the general public. I didn't want to spend anymore money here and if I'm honest, it's put me off going again!

We took my little niece here and she absolutely loved feeding the ducks! It was lambing season so the mothers and lambs were in the lambing pens. The weather was awful so we didn’t see a lot of the animals but we will definitely take her again on a nice day as we all really enjoyed our afternoon :) we also called into the farm ship and bought some goodies to take away and the steak pie and the sausages were yummy !

Dogs seem to be accepted as long as on a lead. There is a covered area infront of the restaurant which is used by families and accompanying dogs. It's quite large so plenty of room to have a drink or bite to eat whist the dog has a treat. I think you just use your common sense around the paddock areas. If yr dogs excited or a hunter I would stay further back, but mostly my little dog is not sure what they are and keeps moving further back all by himself.

We have a wheelchair friendly Farm Shop and Cafe with disabled toilet facilities.The Farm itself is wheelchair friendly in places. We have a covered barn that houses some of our animals and this is wheelchair accessible.
