So many items from my childhood & some I didn’t recall but worth a wander around, loved the little dolls dresses we looked at today but didn’t know if they’d fit my childhood dolls so they were left behind, lovely lady on hand to offer advice & converse with, think she was the owner, nice trip down memory lane!

Opens at 11am. Helpful and knowledgable staff. Lots to see with plenty of variety. Items are for sale from several dealers. Upstairs has a wide selection of clothing for sale. Prices were reasonable and mainly sensible. A quiet wee town with plenty to see and this outlet adds to it.

The shop really is a hidden gem, there are some fantastic pieces in there and the prices are pretty good too. It’s well set out and the lady who was working there was very friendly. Only wish I’d have brought my wallet!

As a previous reviewer suggested, this is worth a browse if you are in the area. Although the name suggests that this is an antique shop, it has a much wider range of stuff, including vintage ware, bric a brac, some old bits of furniture, and the odd bit of tat. And in saying this I’m not being critical, as I find such shops more interesting to browse than the more upmarket, rather sterile antiques shops.

Middleton Antiques and Interiors is a nice little privately open antique shop in Middleton. You really have to be into antiques and oddities to really enjoy it. But worth a 15 minute stop.
