I have purchased some beautiful gifts for family and friends here. It is so good to find something unique and hand crafted when you require a gift for a special occasion.

Visited Seaton for Seaton Tramway but stumbled across this shop when exploring the town. The glasswork looked beautiful in the sunny shop window so couldn't resist going inside for a browse.
Gill was making a commissioned picture at the the time and happily explained what she was doing. So many amazing designs, I found it hard to choose just one. Really pleased with the curved 'sailing boats' I eventually bought.

Gill is ultra talented and a really nice lady. I got some awesome glass that is going to make lovely presents.
She does commission work so well worth having a chat with her. A must place to go in seaton

This is a wonderful shop in the heart of Seaton, where the artist and owner (Gill) designs and makes Glass Art on the premises. There's a wide selection of items on display, which showcase the artist's considerable skill. The prices are very keen and everyone can find a beautiful piece of hand crafted art, within their budget.
I'd highly recommend a visit, but don't be surprised if you find yourself starting a collection of this delightful glass.
Gill welcomes commissions and recently produced a bespoke glass picture for the 25th wedding anniversary of some keen sailors. We couldn't have asked for more.

A really interesting shop with a wide selection of hand made glass objects, designed and made on the premises. Gill made a wonderful glass picture of my Morgan car which now hangs proudly on our wall. Do visit if you are in Seaton, you will not be disappointed.

Wednesday 27th May, parked on the Esplanade, 1 hour for 60p. We walked up the town to the Square and Fore Street and then turned left into Cross Street, less than 5 minutes walk.
As we walked by the shop we stopped to look at the beautiful array of coloured glass art on display. We went into the shop to look at the work on show in there, we were greeted by a very friendly and chatty lady. It transpired that she was the owner of the shop and the artist, Gill Hamlett.
Gill, explained the process of creating a piece of art and the length of time required in the kiln and how long it takes to bend the glass, it was really interesting and we could sense the artists passion for her work. Commissions for work are accepted and Gill was about to commence work on a commissioned piece of work for a wedding.
There were pieces on display for nearly every occasion as well as decorative items. We particularly liked the pieces with the snow people. As we are moving to Seaton, around September, we will certainly be back to visit this shop.
