Wir waren nur zu zweit mit Ricky (Guide) unterwegs. Er konnte uns alle tolle Plätze zeigen, sodass wir Rochen, Seelöwen und sogar einen Pinguin sehen konnten. Wir haben mehrer Pausen an wunderschönen Sandstränden gemacht, es gab heisse Getränke und Kekse. Der Lunch war sehr fein. Wir haben die Tour um die zwei Inseln (Full Day Guided Astrolabe Adventure) gemacht und es war wegen den Pausen nicht einmal anstregend und wir konnten es einfach geniessen! Wir würden diese Tour sofort weiterempfehlen. Absolut lohnenswert :)

If you're not into big groups or much rather want to wonder off yourself? TBK is the best pick.
It's a small company which means small groups on a guided tour. TBK also offers unguided options. Kayaks and gear are in super good condition.
It's an honest and reliable service. They do what the say.
Would highly recommend TBK!!

Wanted to thank Ricky for a wonderful morning of kayaking in Abel Tasman! I did the Kayak and Walk tour and it did not disappoint. Saw loads of seals, some very curious of the kayak, an abundance of sea birds and even 2 blue penguins!!! Coffee and biscuits were much appreciated as was Ricky's knowledge and passion. The hike back is mainly downhill so very easy even in the heat with plenty of opportunity to nip down to the stunning bays. The burger van at the end of the trail was just what I needed after a good 6+hrs of outdoors. Thoroughly recommend Ricky and TBK.

Had a great day (8.30-4pm) with two of us, both novice kayakers, being guided by Andi. After a thorough safety briefing, she took us out around the two islands, where we saw baby seals, oyster-catchers and more. We landed on a island beach where she found and cooked us fresh mussels and surprised us with coffee! A further lunch stop later in the day with packed lunch supplied, then followed the coastline, through caves and along an estuary. All in all a great day and inspired a new love of kayaking. Thoroughly recommend.

We took the half day adventure which means you walk halfway up the able Tasman track and then switch to kayaking. Andy was a great guide and we had fun gathering mussels and seeing the seals. We recommend doing the half day because doing half of the trek by land gives you a taste of the rainforest and interesting kiwi terrain!

Even though the weather wasn’t great, and in fact somewhat rainy, we had a wonderful experience kayaking with them! Ricky was our guide and he was awesome! I am glad we were able to find this small type company. They took great care of us!

After travelling around for over a month in NZ the day I had kayaking in Abel Tasman was one of the best activities I did! Well guided with lots of baby seals even penguins (although they are not guaranteed of course). Lovely spot for lunch overlooking the entire park and nice to be part of a smaller guided tour group. Highly recommend the full day tour for any budget traveller coming through the area

We had a great day kayaking on the guided tour. Andi and Zoe made us feel very comfortable and were great guides. Out of all the different kayak companies in Marahau we highly recommend this one for the value of money and also how easy everything was. Thanks again for a great day!

Wassertaxi mit 20 oder mehr Touristen, als bunte Schlange aus Kayaks die Strecke absolvieren...FEHLANZEIGE
Wir waren zu dritt mit einem einheimischen Guide, der neben Kenntnissen der Tierwelt auch über Flora und Fauna bestens informiert war und in lockerer, sympathischer Art die Fragen beantworten konnte oder einfach sein Wissen geteilt hat. Pausen wann und wo wir es wünschten, Picknick mit Kaffee, Keksen und Decken, ein Lunchpäckchen (und das war gut!) sowie die Besichtigung der Schlafplätze hiesiger Pinguine waren inclusive.
Wer also die Ruhe und Individualität sucht ist hier richtig.
Und natürlich haben wir auch Robben etc. gesehen.
5 Sterne aus voller Überzeugung,

A wonderful experience ,a must do if in the area.
Stunning scenery,brilliant guide,great weather,loads of wildlife.
Plenty of paddling prior to lunch,an amazing "sail" back to base using hand held sail and tail wind.

what level of fitness do you need, to do these days?

I did a full day tour with no fitness. Kayaked around 16km, 5h on the water, will a swell around 2m Maximum, was doable to me.
You should be fine.
