纽西兰南岛北岸的一个国家公园，以第一位到达纽西兰的欧洲探险家亚伯·塔斯曼的名字命名。北临金湾，南濒塔斯曼湾。为纽西兰最小的国家公园。著名的旅游胜地，公园内可以进行健走、划皮艇等活动。
在凯特里特里(Kaiteriteri)搭乘威尔森(WILSONS )船前往亚伯塔斯曼国家公园，在公园区内共计7小时的风景游船与健走，穿过亚伯塔斯曼国家公园，从美丽的凯特里特里海滩出发。沿途可欣赏世界著名的斯普利特苹果岩，纽西兰海豹，巴克湾，汤加采石场，金色沙滩和波光粼粼的碧绿海水。

我们做梦也想不到有比这更完美的旅行了！天气很好，道路维护得很好，景色也很美!我们住在沿途的营地，营地都非常干净，坐落在小海湾里。我们甚至游了几次泳！主要建议是确保你带有大量的苍蝇喷雾，因为沙蝇不是很友好!如果你要进行多天的徒步旅行，还要带上很多零食。搭乘水上的士是从一个地方到另一个地方去的好方法，也是一个从另一个角度看步道的好方式。这次徒步是我妈妈旅行中最精彩的部分!

我们在尼尔森受到推荐，到此游船加健行的一天团。坐船可看经典的石，到了岸上便开始数小时的健行。我们选的都不难走，走回起点再坐车回去。

我们在这呆了一天，这里真的非常漂亮。海岸线和海滩令人啧啧赞叹，因为这里有美丽的景色还有许多稀奇的鸟类和植物。如果你去的话，我建议你带一双好一点的步行鞋。

风景美丽，散步也很舒服。这里的路线维护得很好，并管理妥善。您可以单独行动或参加导游。在这里可以乘坐由快艇参观整个公园。需要提前预订露营地和过夜停留。也需要逗留许可。

这条路很棒，很好走。你可以选择让水上出租车帮你保管包包。没有一段山路是需要步行超过10分钟的，这里的路都很好走，在这里游泳的体验很赞！

那里的道路平坦而宽阔。我见过很多推着婴儿车的女人，并且轮椅在那里很容易活动。如果你走路并且想要挑战的话，沿海赛道对你来说将是一个挑战，我去了内陆的圣橡树小屋，那里有开阔的视野并且用了3小时攀登陡峭的山壁。 沿海营地有能进入水域值得入住的景点。所以历年来变得越来越拥挤，所以如果你去，请自己接受现状，并且看在上帝的份上不要在灌木丛中大便，你可以收好并带走它。那里的露营地都离的很近。我们的国家不是一个厕所，而你正在践踏它，所以请你放尊重。

2月底的时候，我在一个晴朗的夏日来到了这个公园游览。考虑到这里游客很多，公园的道路状况维护得相当不错。这里有许多海滩，到海边去享受一下清澈的海水是一种享受。然而，我最大的抱怨是公园里步行游客很多，但却没有徒步旅行的道路，这点太不合适了，这是我以前没有经历过的，所以有点吃惊。我还会再来这个公园，但会选择一个不太繁忙的时间。

我在这里玩的很开心，比如沿海岸的大步行道散步，这是很受欢迎的活动，但是皮划艇也是很不错的设施。我还跳了伞，因为相比昆仕汀这里最便宜。而且与昆士敦相比，这里也有很多其他不错的活动，所以我选择了亚伯斯曼国家公园。

Do you need hiking boots to walk the Tracks or will decent walking/running shoes suffice in March/April?

Hi. Walking trainers should be fine. The tracks are really well maintained. Running trainers might not support the ankles well enough.
Clear this will all depend on whether is dry.

Hi I'm walking the whole 60km track over 5 days in February. What equipment do you recommend I take and approximately how long does each day of walking take for someone with average fitness who hasn't completed a multi day hike before

You gonna have so much fun! My partner and I did it also in 5 days. My fitness level is very average and it was our second multi-day hike ever. If you stay in the huts, then count 4 to 4.5 hours per day, counting lunch break. You also will have plenty of time to enjoy the beaches and rest. If I remember well there is one day that's a bit longer. Basically we found that the estimates of the department of conservation pretty accurate. Some people go faster, but for us it was right on time. The track is not to hard. Some parts are a bit steep but never long enough to be really trying.
As for equipment... do you hut or tent? You can Google the DOC list of things to bring on a hike, again it's pretty good. Don't forget mosquito repellent (although it wasn't too bad), candles for the evening, rain jacket just in case, etc. Also a portable gas cooker and pot as the huts don't have any. One little gas canister should be enough. Dry or light-weight food. We had prepackaged pasta, dry mashed potatoes, dehydrated milk and coffee, precooked rice, chocolate, hard cheese, hard bread, canned tuna, sachet soups, etc.
There are water refill stations on the track but I would advise to take plenty of water still, especially in summer. No specific equipment for hiking as the path is in good condition (except for hiking shoes).
In terms of other tips : on day 2, Cleopatra Pools are really cool. It's 30 mins extra but it's a nice little break.
Don't skip Separation Point (last day - on the way to Whariwharangi hut). It's not much longer and it's really cool.
Try to cross the Awaroa inlet as close as possible from the low tide. We have seen people being late and having water almost to the waist. I didn't look dangerous but definitely cold!
The Awaroa village can be skipped, nothing special there.

We are walking the track from Sth to Nth and need to get a bus from Wainui carpark to Totaranui in the morning to meet our water taxi. The daily buses don't run in winter so wondering if anyone has any suggestions for private shuttles? Any help appreciated, thanks

Pretty fit take your walking boots it does have some fairly steep parts & steady climbs some rocky paths .. Hope this helps

Hi jpkmckenn, to be honest I am not sure, however I would think the area is pretty safe regardless, you would be recommended to not leave any valuables out though. If you are getting to the start of the track with an operator such as a water taxi, they have secure parking available.
