Der Ausblick von der Brücke ist toll. Es ist auf jedenfalls was besonderes. Aber sonst ist rein garnichts dort. Die Parkgebühr ist eine Schweinerei. Wir waren 1,5 Stunden dort und mussten 10 Euro bezahlen. Das ist reine abzocke und müsste verboten werden. Schon alleine wegen der Parkgebühr dürfte dort keiner hinfahren

On Sunday afternoon we chose the long walk to the bridge. Goes straight through a forest with some healing paths and dams. Few people encountered along the way. Arriving at the bridge it was quite a bit busier. Walking over this bridge is not recommended for people with a fear of heights. The bridge sways more in the middle than at the beginning. We thought it was definitely worth it. With small children, I would not undertake this so quickly.

We parked at the P3 car park in Mondorf. 6 euros for 6 hours. From the a walk of about 30 minutes led us to this famous bridge. We arrived around 9:30 this Tuesday, August 6 and we were the only ones! The bridge is ours alone. On the other hand, after the crossing and after 10 hours, the world did not finish coming en masse. I therefore recommend an arrival around 9am or earlier.

That was an absolute nub, horrendous parking fees, a dead village and miserable long hiking trail through the wasteland...who comes up with such a thing? We stopped the tour after 1.5 km, you're not serious about promoting something like that!

Beautiful view of a beautiful bridge, great piece of engineering! We added the 7.7 kilometer walk, which was also very nice. Why only 4/5: If you park at Parking 1, you pay 10€!!! This is not indicated anywhere, and was therefore a very unpleasant surprise.

The suspension rope bridge met the expectations of our hiking group. Including our hike of almost 4 hours we also found the 10 euro parking fee acceptable. Our attempt to find a nice cafe the next day was difficult - all cafes closed at 4 p.m., which were unfamiliar. Parking at the only central car park at the visitor center then cost 10 euros again for less than an hour. We felt that was a rip-off.

The suspension rope bridge was impressive, but the cost of parking in the parking lot at the visitor center was an outrage: after a few minutes free of charge we had to pay 10 -EUR for the first 4 hours, even if we were only 15 minutes in this parking lot!!

We liked the bridge and here comes the but: 10 euros to pay for the parking for 4 hour hike we found as a group quite fine. The next day we wanted to visit the nice coffee at the parking lot, unfortunately already closed. We made the mistake of parking our car again at the only public central parking lot at the visitor center. Much to our surprise we had to pay 10 euros for the 45 minutes. We perceive this as modern wayfinding. Actually, we really liked it here, but our hike and stop will no longer lead to Mörsdorf.

The bridge is impressive. Several walking routes around the bridge. Fun and accessible for everyone!
We went for a route of 8km around and near the bridge.
Place where parking is located not so exciting very quiet (we were on the early side)
Totally with a drink we were well 2 hours on the road. Parking ticket is €10, which I thought was a bit on the pricey side for such a short route.

Nice bridge, but bad rip-off on the parking lot P2 in Mörsdorf 2.4 km (!) away with 8,- EUR minimum fee - payment also only possible by card. 15 min Exceeding the minimum parking time already costs one EUR more. The best way to get to the bridge is by bike and avoid Mörsdorf.

ANDY L. Your report is thoroughly incorrect on almost every front. The road signage is outstanding and simple to understand. The car parks are clearly marked so there is no need to enter the residential areas . . unless you want to illegally park!! Regarding being chased by villagers because we are jealous of your shiny car - what a tw@t. We are happy to welcome anyone to our village as long as THEY HAVE THE RIGHT ATTITUDE. We feel no loss from you leaving our village and hope you enjoy life on your tiny island.

The attraction is not fenced off and therefore always open to the public. Obviously it will be cold but apart from strong winds you have nothing to fear :-) .
