Maybe it was just bad luck but when visited they had not enough staff and refused to accommodate us outdoors. Worst, they had no food to chose from, only the Moldavian soup (zama / zeama) and cheese pie. The soup was good, the pie not so great. The price was surprisingly high, we paid much less in another Moldavian restaurant. However, good value comparative with an European country.
The location is awesome, the local is interestingly decorated, there is a lot of space indoor and outdoor. The waiter was nice and worked hard to do hers job.

Интересное и очень красивое место на правом берегу Днестра, где расположена сельская усадьба Сергея Хангану и его гостеприимной семьи. Здесь вкусная домашняя еда, красивые виды, современные удобства в сельском доме, оформленом со вкусом и из приодных материалов - камней и дерева. Погружаешься в атмосферу другого мира, тесно и неразрывносвязанного с окружающей природой.

Очень живописный вид на берег Днестра, аутентичное село вокруг, вдали от центрального шоссе и суеты. Тихо, спокойно, по-домашнему. Хорошо можно посидеть на террасе с бокалом вина и вкуснейшими блюдами молдавской кухни: крохотные голубцы, кролик в белом соусе, мамалыга с жареной рыбкой, зама с домашней лапшой, чернослив начиненный орехом сваренный в вине со сливками ммммм.... Уютные номера, имеется даже небольшой конференцзал.

This no-frills hotel overlooks the Dniester. it's situated in an unspoiled, undeveloped village that hasn't changed in decades. Don't expect an oasis of luxury. This is a quiet, simple hotel in the heart of the village, surrounded by animals and birds. You must eat and drink what you're given, but you won't be disappointed. Ask Sergei, the owner, to show you his cellar of pickles, jams, syrups, wines and brandies. But don't drink too much of it. More like a chambre d'hote than a hotel, there's a convivial atmosphere and usually some other discerning travellers to chat with.
My only small wish is that Sergei could offer bottled wines of a slightly higher qualiy than his own homemade wine!

Even if the road from Chisinau to Lalova is not yet finished (last 30 km's are in a poor condition), the location, guest house and the entire environment worth it to get there. The rooms a very impressive from the inside, made in a traditional wooden style. The food deserves only the word "delicious" - everything is home made by the owner. The wine is all you can imagine about a moldavian home made wine. And a lot of options for hiking and visiting nearby locations like Tipova, Saharna, etc.
Would definitively go back there for more days.

I have been looking forward to get to this place for three years. When I finally did, I was stunned by its beautiful location, by its clean rooms, and by the (very!) tasty food it provided.
I thought I would have no trouble rating it '5 out of 5', but I did.
The service is impersonal, the place has a very bad vibe, and the owners don't care about anything else than making an extra buck. Their favourite client-type is the one hanging all day-round at the inn and eating their food, then buying their wine at the end of the stay. We are all young and love to travel and discover areas, not sit and eat all day long. This seemed to upset especially the male owner of the inn, who didn't even bother to ask us how we enjoyed our time there; instead, he hung around with other groups of guests (much larger and older than us). We were always served last and on our last morning there we waited to have breakfast for almost an hour, even if we asked them to serve it on time (we had a long way home ahead of us). We had the feeling that they were continuously shoving food down our throats and refused to pay the extra portions they were simply serving without our acceptance.
The male owner was especially disappointed when he saw our wine bottles bought from Cricova (at our departure), because he would've liked us to buy some of his wine!
This could have been a great place, but these people don't know how to make guests return. All they are thinking of is their profit! If other guests before us didn't notice it, we did.
Would never go back!

I was there a year ago, great owners, the food is amazing and the lodging is clean and comfortable. It was a great experience, will always refer them to other people.
You also can sleep outside underneath a hay roof!!! just ask.

Bellissimo sia d'estate , per le gole e le cascate e per le mete storico-culturali che si trovano li vicino, ma anche d'inverno, panorama, aria e cibo eccezionali. Passeggiate sul Nistru ghiacciato, escursioni su slitta tirata da cavallo
