We had an appointment to spend two hours here during the height of the pesach tourist season. I was wondering "what in the world would we do in a sand place for two hours?" Well, the time just flew and everyone in our almost 50 person group had a great time. Shai, the owner and his beautiful wife (can't remember her name-sorry!) showed us around the facility. It is in Ein Zivan, minutes away from the de Karina chocolate factory which is also a nice activity. The decor in this little building is adorable- very whimsical and creative. Inside the sand room there is a huge clean sandbox. The little kids dove right in. Shai showed us the light tables where you can create cool sand art. you sprinkle the sand around the table and cameras broadcast what you are creating onto monitors mounted from the ceiling. once you get used to the effect you can create all sorts of very cool stuff there. the teenagers were very busy there for most of the time. there are tables filled with kinetic sand and sand in interesting colors from all over the world. there are little tools available so you can create whatever you want. there is a big table where visitors are challenged to build a replica of a beautiful lighthouse from portugal. a big picture hangs there for would-be builders to try and copy. in the back there is a room for kids to make a souvenir to take home. They took wooden forms like a heart or chamsa and using glue and different colored sands create something pretty to remind them of their time at Hachol Yachol. another room has a shadow theater set up where you can put characters into the sand to create scenes. another cool thing is a colored light table where you can move the sand around to reveal the light in the table and different patterns and colors. Shai and his wife lingered around making sure we knew what to do and how to do it. He gave a really long tutorial to my 9 year old niece on how to construct a castle out of sand. He showed her how to make a patterned roof and staircase on the outside of the castle.The two hours we had to spend there flew. There is a very cute gift shop with small nautical or sand-themed gifts. We cannot recommend Hachol Yachol or its owners enough. Just go!

Excellent place to bring the entire family they have kinetic sand and a large sandbox there is a an arts and crafts room and many different ways to be creative kids take home a souvenir which they have made I highly recommend to entire families and also to anyone with children who have any learning disabilities must make an appointment and it’s for a two hour appointment

Awful customer service, cannot recommend. My 10person family, with 3 small children, visited Pesach 2018. Since youngest child could not enter, one adult had to remain outside. Staff insisted we pay for 10 participants despite the adult and child remaining outside -- she was so rude and stubborn our entire group felt compelled to leave. Hard to understand how losing 8 customers and leaving horrible impression is preferred by their staff. Unless you appreciate service with a snarl, avoid!

We went with our little one, she enjoyed the place a lot. There is a big sand box for free playing (speciel kinetic sand), some tables with colorful sand and shapes.
The activity is time limited for two hours.

My wife and I were a little skeptical at first, what is so special about playing in a sandbox? However, after 5 minutes we fell in love with the place.
When we entered Hachol Yachol we met the lovely founder, owner, and guide Shai.
He showed and explained all the activities this place offers.
We visited with a 5 and a 2.5 years old boys and they were charmed.
At first, we played in a huge, clean and special sandbox with tools and tutoring.
Afterwards, every child got a wooden gift, which he decorated with colored sand and glue.
Then, we moved to the light sand tables and we discovered that our children could instinctively create "drawings" that are full of imagination with just a brief instruction.
After a while, every participant played with special kinds of kinetic sands that are different one another at texture, color, and building difficulty.
We haven't have the time to experience all the corners, the sand "puppet theatre" and others because we went directly to the main course which is scalping a projected image in the large sandbox with help from Shai and the special scalping tools and techniques that we have been taught. There is more activities that Haven't noted.
Hachol Yachol is a chance to stop what you are doing and really bond with your family as you are working as a team while you get your hands dirty, no smartphones or civilization for few precious hours.
This place is therapeutic. Kids with or without special needs can enjoy the simplicity and the calming effect of using basic materials to create a unique creation.
Do not miss out!

Shay is very passionate about sand art, which made the whole experience very fun for the entire family. The place itself is very nice with a lot of sand art activity options for all ages, and importantly - air conditioning.

היינו 6 - מבוגרים, בני נוער וילדים. כולם נהנו מאד מחוויה לא שגרתית. מגוון פעילויות ומתחמים, סוגי חול ויצירה. מקום שרואים שנבנה בהרבה אהבה. תענוג!

לא האמנתי שאמצא את עצמי חוזר לשלחק בחול. ארגז החול של מתחם החולי יכול שאב אותי לחזור לילדות ולשחק עם ילדי בחול. משם עברנו לשולחנור ואח"כ ליצירה בחול קינטי... פשוט תענוג.

אחד המקומות הכי קסומים שאני מכיר בזכותם של שני אנשים מדהימים ויצירתיים בטרוף שי וימית . שי מביא את הידיים הכישרון והלב הגדול וימית את היצירתיות והנשמה . יחדיו יצרו מקום שחולל זמן קסם בין הורים לילדיהם ובכלל מקום מדהים לכל מבוגר להתחבר לילד שבו . מרגיש פשוט מאושר לחזור לשם כל פעם. מקום וחוויה מדהימה !!! מומלץ ביותר !!!!
