La Union is one good place to start your Visita Iglesia. I believe each poblacion/municipality has its own old church. So after research, we started on one of the topmost municipality of La Union.

We came at the break of dawn, so we were able to witness the 6am mass delivered in the native Ilokano language (we didn't stay for long to finish the mass though).

The church was old, but well maintained. It was a lovely church with a lot of religious figures around the traditional 14 stations of the cross around the church. There is a bell tower separate from the main church.

This is a definite must stop for anyone who's on a religious journey.
