Very nice surprise. The museum is small, but you can see some history of Andy Warhol and some of his art. We liked the mix of the family history and art mixed together in one place.

vaut vraiment le détour ,le musée est plus grand que prévu ,des expositions d autres artistes de bonne qualité .

Our experience started at the cash-desk when I asked about payments by card, and the lady answered with an angry attitude just 'No!'. Another "warm welcome" representing poor services, I thought. Otherwise, I would be spent some more money here, as the gift shop looked surprisingly well-equipped, even comparable to Tate Modern in London, which hosts the AW exhibition around at the same time.
It seems, they put a significant effort into this concept of mixing AW museum and contemporary art, however, more precise curation is needed. It was not really clear which section of the museum is dedicated to what era and style. Combining contemporary modern art with AW pop art seems a good idea, but it needs to be clear with the description, introductory words when opening the room, time-line, etc. It certainly felt this museum has little - to - no curation.
Additionally, having such a museum in the city that does not have any welcoming atmosphere requires additional effort on how to please those, who traveled here across the country. Moreover, to get robbed on Andy Warhol street at 8 am while waiting for Museum to open was really "charming".
The paradox is, the exhibition on the ground floor, by KEITH HARING - Radiant World is the most interesting.
I usually spent at the Modern Museums min. 2 hours, but in this case was much less. Museum Cafe would be a great addition! But again, excellent service is required, as the service as an essential part of success.

Warto tu zajechać będąc w Bieszczadach. Małe muzeum, ale warte obejrzenia. Bilet wstępu 4 euro, nie można było płacić kartą, ale 500m dalej jest bankomat. Pracownicy muzeum mówią po polsku. Mały minus- przy niektórych pracach ( z ekspozycji czasowej) opisy tylko po słowacku. Droga na Słowację bardzo malownicza. Wracając do Polski warto obejrzeć cerkiew w Komańczy.

First time for us to see this place in the middle of nowhere . It is amazing to learn and see some pictures from Slovak famous person which has never ever visited this place. Despite that in his work you can clearly see Slovak influence from her mother and father. i definitely suggest to take a tour guide as you can see a lot . Worth to visit and I hope and wish place to be even bigger then it is .

Interessantes Museum, das einen guten Überblick über Leben und Wirken des Künstlers gibt, viel Hintergrund auch zu siener Familie. Bei den ausgestellten Werken besonders interessant für Deutsche: Portraits der früheren First Lady Mildred Scheel, im Rahmen der Serie "Gekrönte Häupter" (neben Königin Beatrix u.a.).

veľa som o andy warholovi nevedela, takže návšteva múzea ma v mnohom obohatila...odporúčam všetkým milovníkom moderného umenia...jedinečné diela...a čo je zaujímavé talent už prejavovala jeho matka, len bohužiaľ nemala podmienky na jeho rozvoj.

He had ancestors that lived around here in the early 20th Century but he was born in Pittsburgh, PA. Yet as flimsy as the connection is, the collection here is also the flimsy. The place should be converted to a rave hall or art school or something useful. At leadt there's no annoying tourists like back in NY galleries, though. I give five stars, though, for being weird, for being a daringly irrelevant art museum, and for actually being in kinda pleasant place (since it was a zillion miles from any nasty noisy city like New York).

Muzeum z doskonale znanymi pracami mistrza popartu szokująco kontrastujac z przeciętną okolicą baaardzo przyciąga. Polecam.
P. S. Jadąc w te rejony nie znajdziecie po słowackiej stronie dobrej restauracji, zajazdy, gospody. Ostrzegam☺️☺️

Miejsce z klimatem, zasoby może nie imponujące, ale sama atmosfera i architektura budynku, zaprezentowanie ekspozycji są niezwykła, naprawdę warto :-)
