Went on one excursion from Petrovac (Montenegro) (boattrip Kotor). The tourguide on this trip was magnificent. She spoke 3 languages fluently. I am sure all excursions are great, so what I would like to highlight in particular is the service of the local travenagency in Petrovac. My experience is they are solid, professional and reliable. Ask for Vera.

Walk along the sea, to reach the castle (Kastio) which consists of ruins with a large tower at the end, it was very quiet there were few tourists when we went and the view is magnificent.

Every part of the excursion is professionally arranged, information on where to pay, the sales process itself and transportation to the desired destination.

Beautiful and ideal for a young couple to visit! A small village with many restaurants and a nice (pebble) beach. The beach fills up quickly, so it is advisable to go to the beach early if you want a good spot. You can also easily take the bus for a day to Kotor and there is a nice trip along the coast of Budva where you have free time in the town of Budva itself.

Küçük ama düzenli bir yer. Kaleden deniz kıyısındaki kaya oluşumlarının fotoğrafını çekmek harika. 1-2 saat dolaşmak için ideal. Deniz tertemiz. Tekne turu da yapılabilir.

An easy stroll along the prom from our hotel
Young folk trying to sell boat trips, but they didn't persist when told "No".
Lots of restaurants and souvenir shops along the prom.
Harbour itself small but interesting.

We are staying in Hotel Riva. Is there any place or stalls to buy clothes or little gifts?

Aghhh - I am looking at photographs, and it seems that Petrovac has the busiest of beaches?
We are looking for a base so we can go and do a trip of some of the interior ... is this the best place to stay or should we head further south to Ulcinj, or Budva?

Hi
Budva id about 30 mins from Petrovac and we did the trip easily in a day we were going to go to Kotor was about 2 hrs which a car would be needed but I think you can catch a bus?
Budva was very busy with tourist naturally as it is beautiful

Yes, I agree there are a number of souvenir shops but they all seemed to sell the same things. Some good places to eat. Enjoy !
