The tour was very informative and great. Guide Ibrahim taught us a lot about the island and its culture. The travel time to the individual places was really short. He was always super friendly and was always able to answer all of our questions. On this tour you experience agriculture and culture up close. The best part was visiting the tea plantation where you could see the entire tea production process. The food was also delicious and the portions were okay. The only downside is that you unfortunately don't get to see how the rum is made. You only have the opportunity to try it and buy it. Otherwise the tour is really great and recommendable!

We made transfers to and from the airport, and between hotels, and tours (north, south and other on request) with this company, which was recommended to us.
Both Carine and the staff and employees we contact are very friendly, helpful and professional.
A special highlight for the tour guides Sailyn, Ibrahim and Raj, who with their knowledge, wisdom and professionalism gave us information about the island, about the places visited and answered all our questions. They allowed us to know the locations of what would be possible by ourselves.
Also a special thanks to Carine for your professionalism and quick response to our requests.
I recommend!

We booked transfers between airport and our Inn (round trip) with Destination Soleil.
All was perfect, quick and accurate email responses.
The day we arrived the driver was waiting for us with a sign in our name.
The trip to our Pension was very good.
For the return our friendly driver Didier (same as when we arrived) was well on time to take us to the airport.
Trusted service for transfers.

AmThe guide was lovely but the food not overly exciting or interesting and the portions were vast. I would have liked to have learnt more about the items for sale in the market. I have been on some amazing food tours but sadly this wasn’t one of them.

Beautiful getaway in the different districts of Port Louis. Street food, mixed with a touch of history on the island. Thanks to our guide Rudy, for all these varied tastings (don't have breakfast before!), and for introducing us to all these unusual little places.

Our guide was very good with only one minor blemish taking us to a tourist trap at the end of the tour. Apart from that we ate authentic food in several locations all of which was nice. We did get the impression that several of the places we sat down in were not ready for us or knew we were coming but we still enjoyed it. Small group easy to get along with. Worth the experience

Christopher was approachable and very friendly along with accommodating with mobility of others . Ensured our comfort was met. Understood when us and others were getting full. Loved the lead up to the food tasting via museum and park visit.

Our driver/guide Ibriham arrive at the port in good time. He was not only a safe driver but also very knowledgeable and patient.
He showed us everything we wanted to see and answered all our questions.

I took the tour of the southwest of the island with Sailen, a prudent driver and a trained and passionate guide.
He was kind and punctual in explaining all the highlights to me and thanks to him the tour was very interesting.
I thought the tour would last longer, not just 4 hours, since I paid 100€: we didn't visit the boat factory and Black River Gorges so it seemed expensive for what it offered.

We ordered Soleil Destination’s taxi from the airport to our hotel in Pereypere and back to airport and that cost 83 euroa. We paid it beforehand by internet.

Hi,
I am visiting Mauritius from the 25th March until 29th March. I would like to know if you hire out Taxis for the entire day or part of a day at a fixed rate and we do touring to a variety of sites for that day.
Please advise and also if you have suggested itineraries then this would be most helpful to decide how many days we need to hire for.
