No entré, pero me dediqué a fotografiar el edificio, por su atractivo arquitectónico de otras épocas; era anteriormente la municipalidad. En la esquina tiene un monolito en memoria del completamiento del Ferrocarril Canadian Pacific.

A limited amount of local art, with a small gift shop. Most of the space appears to be taken up with class room space. If you are interested in local art, and are in the area, have a look.

Port Moody Arts Centre makes it possible for Port Moody to live up to its mission statement. The Port Moody Art Centre offers arts programming for all ages and presents well curated exhibitions that celebrate community artists as well as bringing in artists who inspire the artist community. Staff are friendly, and the Blackberry Gift Shop feature many of the local artists.

This is a lovely little Arts Centre in an old beautiful building. The building is interesting to walk through, but limited public access. We enjoyed the art from local artists as diverse and some exceptional pieces.

The Port Moody Arts Centre and Blackberry Gallery serve as anchors to Port Moody's gallery row and a beacon for the City of the Arts. Monthly shows ensure repeat visits always bring new discoveries. Also visit nearby Silk Art Gallery and have a bite at the Gallery Bistro or the historic Burrard Pub.

This Arts Centre has all types of classes from drawing, painting of all mediums, performing arts, music, family workshops. There are many Exhibits, Birthday Parties, Pro D Day activies and a gift shop. The one class I like is Ceramics.
The volunteers are very helpful and the Centre is very easy to find on the main street of Saint Johns Street, Port Moody, and plenty of parking.
I highly recommend a Class here.

loved the group of instructors, definitely look at people's art with respect & interest. they cater to all ages & skill levels, the are open to public and you can see their presence in different avenues of the city itself.

The art exhibits are wonderful and they change quite often. Opening evening of each exhibit there is a reception gathering, you can usually meet the artists, have a glass of wine and enjoy the appetizers they provide. They have a lovely small gift shop that is rotated by local artists, scarfs, jewelry, paintings, pottery, etc...Classes are offered through most of the year.

They always have delightful artwork exhibits. This one is called: Finding Harmony. A wonderful memorial to a artist Kwi Am Choi, born 1954-2006. He was a Korean born artist known for his experimental and abstract work. Much of his work can be attributed to his personal love and appreciation of the outdoors. He was born in South Korea. The Choi family is donating proceeds from artwork sales into the Kwi Am Choi Scholarship Fund they established in 2007 to provide support to young artists.
