One of our favourite camping spots. Best to go when not a public holiday weekend. Need rangers to do checks on weekends as some do not have camp permits. Peaceful. Green grass. Kangaroos. Would love the top walk to be fixed - lookout burnt a few years back now and still not fixed. Plus the suspension bridge has now been removed too so that circuit walk is closed. Please Qld Parks - spend some mo eg and fix these great walks.

Peach trees is between Kilcoy and Jimna. You need to take everything. Gteat toilets, but no showers. Fireplaces available, but not permitted in Sept when there were fires in QLD. Wifi available in some parts of the camp.

Peach Trees has got to be one of our favourite National Parks camping spot, and not too far for a weekend. Great walks, fantastic birds, wildlife and a creek, (which was the driest we have seen it due to the drought). There are fire rings when fires are permitted.
The only slight disappointment is that over a long weekend, it gets really packed (understandable and not a problem), but we felt the toilets should at least be cleaned over these high-peak times and toilet paper replaced. It was only a 3 day long weekend and the toilets slowly became horrendous, to say the least, with many of them running out of paper and some becoming blocked (who knows what people put in them when no paper available). If this was taken care of, then it would definitely be a 10 / 10 spot.
In future we will try to avoid long weekends for this reason.

Such a great place to get away and only under 2hrs from Brisbane, accessible by a 2wd. The only noise you’ll find here is from the wildlife, kangaroos, bandicoots, possums, goannas, birds and the odd snake. Walking tracks to cater for everyone, camp fire pits (bring in your firewood) and nice toilets. Bring your tables as the ones that were there are gone. Highly recommend. There’s a shop nearby for treats and coffee if you have that urge (Jimna store)
Just a quick note, the old Yabba falls gate was no longer accessible, but there might’ve been another way to see it?

Great spots to choose from all open areas, easy access , only 2 other campers when we visited. Amenities have had a good upgrade, kangaroos everywhere, kookaburras and the cockatoos - they get a bit noisy at the end on the day.... but that’s nature. We are self sufficient so no dramas but there is non- potable water taps placed around. Will be back for sure.

Peach trees in jimna national Park is a top camping spot.
We camped over Easter and it was full. There was another family write close to us but only on one side.
The toilets are only a few years old and are in excellent condition. There were plenty of them and they remained clean and plenty of paper all weekend.
The whole area was covered with green grass which made camping nice and clean!
Lots of kids took bikes and rode up and down the dirt track.
There's no drinking water so take your own. No bins so take rubbish away with you. There are fire rings but need to take own wood.
There's a small supply place about 10 min drive away in jimna for ice/firewood/bread etc.
Nice creek for swimming in.
3 Bush walks. 750m, 2.4k and 3.2k.
All fairly easy.
We saw kangaroos, goannas, possums and birds. None of them bothered or campsite. Only a few flies and mosquitoes. Didn't see any toads!
The road is unsealed for the last few KMs but fine with a regular car.
Don't follow Google maps for the last bit more.. Follow the sign that says Peach Trees turn off... We kept going as Google told us to and the road got quite bad for our 2wd!! Had to turn around then.
Highly recommend.

Peach Trees is a small campsite located in Jimna State Park. Queensland. Wheelchair accessible. A peaceful place to camp or day visit with kangaroos, platypus, birds and monitors. Very friendly while going about their day.
Loved it and didn’t want to leave.

A well-maintained Queensland Parks campground on the banks of Yabba Creek in Jimna State Forest.
Located 30 minutes north of Kilcoy, access is via a sealed road to Jimna where it turns to gravel at the Jimna turnoff: a further km or so of good gravel to the signed Peach Trees turnoff, then a rough access track for around 3km to campground: 2WD and caravans cab access with care.
Campground is a spacious area along Yabba Creek with a 300 person limit. We were there midweek, less than 10 people present.
Excellent, clean toilet blocks with flush toilets, non-potable water connections across campground, fire pits (bring own wood) and Qld Parks free wifi available.
Plenty of wildlife: kangaroos abound, goanna, raucous cockatoos, turtles in the creek as well as platypuses for those with patience. A short creek walk along the campground, Boardwalk with viewing area, as well as two longer short circuit walks out of the camping area.
Bookings can be made online at $6.35 per person per night and receipt tag shown ( no onsite registration facility). All rubbishy to be removed from site by visitors.
A great spot for a couple of days.

There is a swimming hole at Peach Tress and it’s normally very cool. Prob advise not to put your head under the water line, as you don’t know what’s upstream
