Won’t ever go back here after being yelled at for having no v pass just to buy berries - little hitlers. I regularly bought four punnets so you lose. Berries have been slowly decreasing in grade and increasing in price

If your concerned about the price go to the shop and get a kg for $20, but we paid $23 for less than half that, but it is the experience. You can get a frozen bag in pack and Save for half the amount. You do pay for all pickers. It was busy so it is popular and you do it for the experience. Some people were spending over a $100's.

Visited on a week day. Was not too busy. Lots of berries to pick. Good way to spend a couple of hours with the kids.

Stopped enroute to Papamoa to pick blueberries. I have never paid to be someone's labour, to me thats rude. I have picked berries in much smaller farms and they never charge you to pick. Price per kg was also a bit pricey considering we paid to pick them. Berries are nice to munch tho.

Gorgeous blueberries! We really enjoyed picking the plentiful blueberries (and may have eaten a few dozen along the way). It didn't take very long to pick nearly 2kg between 4 of us. It made for a great pit stop en route to other destinations. Decent cafe with lovely ice cream.
Cheaper to buy pre-packed frozen berries than pick yourself (unless you pick an average of 1kg per person we figured out) but it was a fun family activity rather than a money saver.
Be prepared to eat blueberries for the next 3-4 days on EVERYTHING (not complaining!).
Sadly, PYO is only available for a few months every year.

Have visited this place a few times in the past. It was the first time since they have added a charge for pick your own. It was only $2 per child and $4 per adult which I thought was reasonable. We went at 10am and it was pretty quiet. The kids loved filling their bucket and we thought it was good value for what we picked.

We came here during the summer for blueberry ice cream and were not disappointed. The portion size was very reasonable, and the blueberries were delicious and fresh. We also tried their blueberry friands and were very pleased with them. This is more of a hidden gem for blueberry lovers. We bought a few packets of frozen blueberries to tide us over the winter months. We'll be back!

まず注意が、ブルーベリーをつむところと、カフェは少し離れています。狩るほうでは、ワゴンでバケツをもらい、どこでとったらいいかを確認。そしてとります。夕方は17時30分ごろまでで受付終了。カフェは18時まででした。ソフトクリームが果肉があり、かなり美味しかったです、おすすめ。

I used to come here at least once a year since 2010 and I really enjoyed the blueberry picking and to buy lots to get home. This year not just that they up the price and put a entry fee for adults and even kids but also they most likely sprayed the blueberries with some something so people will not eat too much while picking. All day yesterday and even today myself, husband and even my kids are very sick, diarrhea and vomiting. Now I have to throw more then 10 kg of blueberries and waste money and time to go to doctors and find what poison we took.
AND we were not the only ones complaining about this while there.
I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE ANYMORE AND ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL AVOID IT TOO. PLUS I'LL ALSO MAKE A COMPLAIN TO THE CONSUMER GUARANTEE.

Whilst there were lots of tourists here, it was still lots of fun grabbing your bucket and picking lots of blueberries.
The only real down side was how slow the service in the cafe was.
Waiting for nearly an hour to get a few ice creams is very poor
Worth a visit but try and avoid public holidays
