We chose this church for our wedding because it is such a beautiful church, the vicar was so welcoming and it was perfectly located within a short walk of where we were staying and the reception. We were not disappointed. Memories of the day will stay with me forever.

My wife was researching her family tree, which took us to rather a lot of churches around England when we were on holiday from Australia.
This was the first of many we visited!
It's a pretty, and pretty impressive, church (see photos) in Norfolk. It never fails to impress me how they could build such massive structures centuries ago.
Not difficult to find - follow the street signs!
It's close to a pub called The Swan (good for lunch - see separate review).

A beautiful church. Angels along the ceiling and over outside door. Painted rood screen. Lovely place for a picnic.

Lovely flint church,, with amazing wooden roof. Remnant of Rood screen, de Neve coats of arms, and font. Some stained glass in upper Nave windows

Well worth a visit if you are in the area and like old buildings, churches etc. Norfolk abounds with such places and although a little off the beaten track it is well worth a visit.The church building is open most days 10am-4pm, It is an active church, not a tourist attraction, and there are no fees but small donations are welcome. There is a photo display showing the church and village since the early 1900s.
