Après quelques minutes de descente à pied depuis la vieille ville, une jolie promenade nous invite au bord du lac de Morat avec son petit port de plaisance. Au loin, on distingue le Mont Vully, célèbre pour son vignoble.

When visiting lovely Murten, don't miss out on the Promenade down at the lake. You can walk down from the old town withing a few minutes...no need to repark.A good start is a the pier, where the boats leave.
From there it's a very nice walk to the east, through some parks and swimming areas. Until you reach a Nature Reserve at the east end of the lake. And even there you could continue.
It's a very nice, flat and easy stroll. Later on heading east the way narrows and there will be some steps, be aware if you have a stroller with or somebody with disabilities.
We always enjoy our walks here, very calm, quiet and relaxing. We'll be back.
