Best beach day!

This was by far our favorite excursion from.our cruise ship. Snorkeling. Swimming. Kayaking. Great service to our chairs. We walked down the beach for lunch so we could order off of a menu. The beachside massage was amazing too. We highly recommend.

We went on the Norwegian cruise line excursion Tabyana Beach Club. The scenery was amazing! The water crystal clear and blue! Richard was at the snorkel renting table by the beach and offered to take us out to the reef for a tip! He was great! He picked up a sea urchin and placed it in our hands. He did a great job of showing us the phenomenal sites of the reef! We’ve never seen anything like it before! We were able to see all the way to the ocean floor that was about 75-100 feet down! We saw a spotted stingray that was about 5 feet across! The food at the resort was lacking but the beach and water made up for it!! We will definitely be back!!

If your looking for a snorkeling guide, find Roger. He is very knowledgeable and has great service. One of the best I've snorkeled with over the years.

Beautiful beach, great snorkeling

The beach was beautiful. The water was absolutely gorgeous. The snorkeling out by the reef was incredible! A local named Richard was there, and offered to take us snorkeling and show us around the reef. (Obviously his occupation) His services were free and just requested a tip. I fully expected him to just swim with us out there and back, but he had all of us hold onto a float and with his snorkel fins basically did all of the work. We had our own snorkel gear, but he helped us when they would fog up and showed us all around. He even took photos for us and then airdropped them to my phone.
He would dive down and bring up amazing things to show and educate us on such as conch, sea, cucumbers, baby starfish.
He was incredible and we tipped him a lot more than I originally thought I would.
We went on a cruise package and the included Buffay was small, but decent food and free non-alcoholic drinks, such as lemonade, water, and tea. The facility is were basic but nice and they had security walking around so you felt completely safe.
The bad was all of the vendors who are incredibly pushy as you walk to the beach. Be prepared to firmly say no, if you are not interested.

Amazing reef snorkeling close to the beach

This beach is a half hour trip from the Coxen Hole cruise port in West Bay area. There are several buildings with snorkel rental, shopping, buffet, changing and restrooms, all set under trees. The beach chairs are a mix of not great plastic and ok vinyl, either in the shade of palm trees or in the sun. There are runners for drink service. The actual beach is narrow, but the real draw for this place is a wonderful reef very close to the beach. We were blessed with very clear water and an saw amazing variety of fish and a family of squid! We have snorkeled many places, so you can trust that it was really good. We came there on an NCL excursion that included the lunch buffet. The food was your typical beach buffet and pretty good. We will return to Tabyana for the snorkeling.

Nice beach with good facilities, gets busy however.

Nice beach, with comfortable lounge chairs and a good bar with a nice selection of drinks.
We walked down the beach a little for lunch at a different place because it got a little busy here.

Outstanding Snorkeling

We did the snorkeling excursion while we were in Honduras and had a wonderful time! We were lucky enough to have Cory Bennett as our lead and he did such an amazing time! The visibility was minimally 75-100 ft. We were able to see so many fish! We can’t wait to ho back! Be sure and ask for Cory as we would highly recommend him! ❤️🤿🐠🐟

Amazing snorkeling....

We snorkeled here 10 days ago as part of a cruise ship excursion. It's absolutely stunning, you walk into a sandy bottom and snorkel to the reef. We could see other boats coming to bring snorkelers to it. Albert was our guide, he was great and took the time to take my husband and I out separately. My husband is a little more gunshy than me, Albert guided him along in more shallow water and he loved it. No cost, just tips, absolutely worth every penny. We've never seen so many fish and we snorkel often. We would go back in a heartbeat and likely will again. Very safe, we didn't mind the vendors, just say no and not much different than other beaches. Our server Yolanda took care of us and our security guard watched over everything closely. great food and a wonderful time.
