For years, the Störtebek Festival was a “must” for us: A unique venue.
We were there again this year - probably for the last time.
The stage builders have performed miracles again.
But: The plot “Hamburg 1401” is rather meager, but with a lot of chatter and little action. Wolfgang Lippert was always hard to take anyway, but now he sings 5 times. If I wanted to go to a concert, I would have bought tickets for it. The costumes sparkle like they used to in a disco. Mr Lippert said: "I look really good, this is crazy. I look like Disney.” (NDR Kultur | Nordmagazin | 16.06.2024 | 7:30 p.m.). I don't want Disney.
And finally Störtebeker loses his head to some kind of guillotine. However, they only exist hundreds of years later for the French Revolution. That's too much artistic freedom.
Conclusion: Disappointing
At the end, fireworks. There's that every night. Does that have to be? There are more climate-friendly alternatives.

We had a great time at the festival. However, there is one point deduction and this applies to all those who have a Blue EU disability parking permit. My sister is severely disabled and we were not allowed to rely on any of the marked parking spots despite this ID. That might have to be explained to the folders again because we were told that only wheelchair users may park in the disabled parking lots my sister has a rollator and is very bad on foot we had to park in the meadow which was almost impossible for my sister. She didn't get the parking pass for nothing.

Beautiful stage. Great performers. All around everything fits. Keep it up. We will be back. All great except for the weather. Didn't bother us, though.

Never again do I book tickets for the Störtebeker Festival.
Since we missed our performances due to a 3 hour traffic jam on the A20, I called the hotline. They brazenly told me that I had no money back guarantee. I didn't mean to. I had cards (most expensive placeCategory ) and now I wanted to use them at another date. Unfortunately, no way led there.
It's an absolute shame to deal with your loyal customers like this.
There is a saying: after pride comes the fall. I hope that's true sometime for the team there.

It was once again an experience. The beginning of the play was somewhat long-winded, but picked up speed as the plot grew. But that's a matter of taste. Everything perfectly organized. Next year back to the new adventures

We've seen a lot of anecdotes. It's always been great. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed it this year. The sets have become especially beautiful and the flying eagle to Lippi's song at the end
were a very special highlight. A very, very big thank you to the whole team before, behind and on stage. We look forward to next year.

All around a great event. Very well played, great natural stage, good performers. Gastronomic offer diverse and priced ok, fast service. Ladies toilets available in large numbers, so the waiting time is ok. Everything well organized and clean. A fleece blanket or seat pad are highly recommended and can be purchased on site at the merchandise stand if necessary. Otherwise it gets too cold. Airshow in advance for 10€ also recommended. Way to the parking lot is quite long, 15-20 min walk time allow.

We were on June 17, 24, after eight years, again at the Störtebeker Festival and again this time, as in 2016, totally enthusiastic. And with that all should be said, with over 14. 000 reviews with a rating of 4.8, there is nothing more to add. Or in other words, over 8.6 million enthusiastic visitors (booth 6-24) can't be wrong, can they?.
And it’s hard to believe, already 8 years ago, today’s 71-year-old East German star Wolfgang Lippert entertained us with his ballads and so also this year according to tradition.
Again, as eight years ago, a hustle and bustle stall with beer, fish and sausage stands awaited us, which continued within the festival grounds. Such a thing on this scale with so many people is unique and you have to like it.
Very elaborate this time the technology used, which has been further developed over the years. Was impressive when, for example, the island of Heligoland appears in the picture from underground.
But also the brilliant fireworks over the Great Jasmine Bodden at the end of every festival evening was once again unique and will remain unforgettable in our memory for a long time.
For us, there is once again a deserved 5 stars plus, for this unforgettable theatrical adventure with intrigue, action, humor and romance, on one of the most beautiful open-air stages in Europe.

Ich frage mich, wie gut man (auch Kinder) noch von den Platzgruppen 4-6 aus sieht und alles versteht?

Servus, ich weiß nicht wo diese Platzgruppen sind. Zuschauerplätze sind aufsteigend, deshalb kann man überall gut sehen. Wir bevorzugen nicht ganz vorne zu sitzen. Dann hat man einen guten Überblick über die gesamten Geschehnisse.

hallo, wir werden zum 1. Mal nach Rügen fahren und sind uns nicht sicher ob wir Karten für die Festspiele vorreservieren sollten. Wegen des Wetters würden wir uns gerne wenn möglich kurzfristig entscheiden. wer hat Erfahrung?

Karten bekommt man in der Regel auch noch kurzfristig da die oberen Ränge freie Platzwahl haben. Wir sind immer mit Ponchos "bewaffnet". Man weiß ja nie. Regenschirme sind während den Vorstellungen verboten bzw. Untersagt.
