First of all, I would like to stress that the landscapes and places visited were impressive, and the experience of touring these sites is truly memorable. However, we found several discrepancies between the information provided on their website and by their trade representatives (Facundo and Eugenia) and the actual experience of the excursion. Below, we detail some of the aspects we observed:
1. Accommodation of Day 1: The place where we stayed did not have some basic services, such as toilet paper. And the breakfast was very basic without nutrients. This detail, although it may seem minor, is important for the well-being of the participants.We understand that this situation could occur in spaces such as shelters, but not in Tilcara.
2. Distances and walking time: There was a big difference between the distances indicated in the itinerary and those actually traveled on all days. For example, Day 3 indicated 8 km in 4 hours, but we ended up doing 21 km in almost 12 hours. We understand that times can be approximate, but this difference significantly impacted our experience as we did not have accurate day-to-day information.
3. Vegetarian food: During the booking, we were informed that we would have a chef and that it was not necessary to bring additional protein, as the vegetarian menu would include supplements such as textured soy. However, the reality was different and the vegetarian diet lacked protein, crucial considering the level of physical wear and tear of the excursion. In addition, most breakfasts consisted of processed industrial cookies, with no nutrients needed to have energy for the rest of the day.
4. Number of guides: We were surprised to see that the team was composed of a single guide and an intern (who was making this journey for the first time) for a group of 15 people. This setup proved challenging for coordination, especially when the group was split in two by the very dynamics of the walk. Although the guides were friendly and attentive and did their best, it was evident that the number of staff was not enough to ensure a safe and organized experience for all.
5. Staff workload: In addition to the guiding responsibilities, they themselves were responsible for preparing food, putting together bags for porting, coordinating with shelters, preparing meals, even setting fire to hot breakfast water. This raised concerns as it affected not only their rest, but also the support they could provide in case of emergency. They did their best, but clearly more resources were needed. As the guides were busy with the organization, no spaces were generated for elongation when arriving at the shelter or when leaving, which is key to avoiding injuries. Nor were there briefings on what was to come the next day to prepare us, as they were geared towards organizing other issues.
We hope these comments will be helpful and help improve the experience of future customers. The friendliness and dedication of the team in the field was remarkable, but we believe that better organization and additional resources could have made this trek a truly exceptional experience.
In particular, the quality of service offered by Gustavo and Sebastian was exceptional, taking into account all these limitations. But the quality of the service offered by the company Argentina Extrema, leaves a lot to be desired.

Beautiful adventure on the Tuzgle volcano. Once again Argentina extreme meets by far expectations. beautiful experience.

I set off on a weekend of adventure and rock climbing training in Balcarce. It was amazing. The guides are a 10, super patients and professionals, plus the best wave. They prepared amazing meals while respecting everyone's food restrictions. It was super fun and a beautiful community was put together where adventures, technical learning experiences and lots of fun were shared. I will definitely repeat it:)

The experience was extraordinary in every way. The scenery and views were extraordinary. But it would not have been possible and enjoyable without the excellent organization and support provided by the company - AEX- and particularly at every moment of the journey by the guides Luciana and Gustavo. The joy, good vibes and quality of services were essential to make everything go well. And the good vibes of the whole group in general, wonderful people among time friends and other friends I met during the journey. Congratulations and thanks. Highly recommended

The experience of climbing Cerro Penitentes was incredible. I went with friends and we had a large and beautiful group. I had no previous experience in high mountains, but I did have training to be able to make the journey. It was demanding but thanks to the support of each of the guides, we managed to overcome each instance and reach the summit. I want to highlight the professionalism and warmth of each of the guides since without them it would have been impossible to achieve this.

I want to thank the entire Argentina Extrema group for always answering my questions. Totally friendly and willing. I also want to thank Cristian and his team at Posta Inca since I have no words to describe the dedication, responsibility and hospitality. They made possible this great dream that I thought impossible, the crossing of the Andes. It's the best thing that happened to me in my life. Thank you very much for being part of this beautiful journey. Totally grateful.

Hola!!!! en la página hay una pestaña que dice cabalgatas, ahí se encuentra . Igualmente la temporada de cabalgatas es de diciembre a marzo. Tenés cabalgata y trekking al avión de los uruguayos.
