Nous avons apprécié la superbe randonnée du Morne. Rowin a été un excellent guide, très sympathique, qui nous a bien informé sur l’histoire et la nature et a bien assuré la sécurité du groupe. À recommander.

The hike was beautiful. The waterfalls were stunning and I enjoyed a lot! Our guide Henri was very helpful. He took things at our pace and showed us a lot of local flora and fauna! He was very knowledgeable and was fun to be with! He helped me through the difficult parts of the hike!

A wonderful and peaceful kayak down the river to watch the sun rise. Rowin was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed listening to the bird song of the dawn chorus and the sun rise was well worth the early start. An amazing way to start the day

We went on a hike with Gilles this morning and it was a really nice experience. Gilles was very nice and helpful and we would love to go there again sometime :D

I was visiting for business and had only one day and after tones of research I found this, and it was everything I wanted! Gilles was my guide. He arrived before the scheduled time (very rare in Mauritius), he is friendly and relaxed. And throughout the hike, he would share with me the history of Mauritius, fun fact about the forest, showed me some plants and found a nice place for us to spit the flying fox! Before the tour, staff at Yanature was super responsive and helpful. I will definitely join their tour again if I visit Mauritius again!

Our trip to the Sept Cascades was amazing! We made a lot of pictures. Our guide Henri taught us a lot off information and brought us to all the beautiful places. We would definitely recommend this trip with Henri!

Superb hike with breathtaking views. Thanks to the guides Yudish and Olivier who made us discover the history of Le Morne, as well as that of the island. It was a beautiful discovery I recommend! 👍🏼

Great hike! Several points of view with explanations of the history of Le Morne. Yudish and Oliver are full of good humor and very invested it was a real pleasure to have them as a guide. The view at the top is breathtaking it is worth the detour!

Bonjour,
Nous sommes un groupe de 4 et nous souhaiterions faire la 1ère partie de l'ascension du Morne Brabant. Au vue de ce que j'ai lu ici et là, au moins 2 d'entre nous ne pourront pas aller jusqu'en haut.
Est-ce donc utile de prendre un guide ? De plus, nous sommes logés à Pereybere donc il nous faut au moins 2 heures de route. Combien de temps faut il pour faire l'AR de la 1ère partie de la rando ? C'est OK si on la fait en fin de matinée ?

Le guide connait un raccourci et il est la pour la securite. Toute promenade est possible sans guide mais nous préférons avec guide et grace a cela nous avons été au sommet avec la famille (54, 16 et 18 ans). Nous avons commencé la randonnée à 6 du matin pour eviter la chaleur. +\-3h au top, 1,5 pour descendre

Hi does anyone know if the business is still running or has been closed? Emailed, Facebook Messenger and left them a message on their website but have no received a response. Wanted to book into a LeMorne hike. Mike try Skyping them if all else fails!!

I have to say that I didn't find them that poor at replying. I left it a bit late to organise but emailed in the evening of Sunday 6th and got a reply on the late afternoon of Wednesday 9th. I'm pretty sure that the office is only manned part time. Our guide was going back to work in the office in the afternoon after our hike had finished. It isn't a really big organisation but then I think that's probably no bad thing. They believe in what they do and focus on you getting the most out of the trek.
Below is the reply I got regarding my enquiry. We were staying in Le Morne and in the end they arranged to pick us up from and deliver us back to the hotel for no extra cost.

Thank you for contacting us.
Le Morne Brabant hike is a hike we do on a daily basis from Monday to Saturday. The mountain is classified since 2008 as world heritage by UNESCO and offers really breath-taking views towards the south and the south-west of the island.
The hike lasts more or less about 3h30-4h00 and is at Rs.1500/pers. The meeting point is at 06:50am on the parking facing the entrance of Le Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa hotel at le Morne.
We have availability during next week and this week and we’ll be very happy to welcome you.
