I absolutely loved the experience. We took my intellectually challenged sister to 3 Sisters Horse Trails as a birthday present. She loved every second of it. The guide was friendly, engaging and knew just how to lead her throughout the experience. Her horse Allegro was calm and stable. The perfect way to enjoy Port Alfred's beaches.

Wir haben selten einen so schönen, unberührten Strand gesehen.
Hier kann man wunderbar spazieren gehen und sich die 3 Schwestern-Formationen anschauen.
Besonders bei Ebbe zu empfehlen.

Our three daughters did this amazing horseriding tour with the very friendly guide in an amazing nature.
They felt very welcome and enjoyed riding on the beach and in the mountains with spectactular views.
Highly recommended!

I like too ride as a break from stresses of my busy life and fast demanding job as an accountant. I have enjoyed every ride at this stunning location. Use too ride a lot at Stirrup Club in JHB during my 2 years. And this smaller group ( maximum 7 horses ) and professional individual attention is far better. Also a ride on a beach has too beat a ride anywhere else. Tenahead mountain rides come a second best choice.

I've been on the horse trail and let my inner cowboy loose a couple of times over the years. The last time I visited was with my girlfriend and it was such a great experience! Would highly recommend for all people especially if you love the outdoors.

On arrival my fiance & I was greeted by the friendly Jann we immediately felt welcome. Just seeing those beautiful horses got us super excited. My fiance is more experience in horse ridding then I am but that was not a problem at all, we got paired to a horse a according to hour skill levels.
The Horse ride on the beach was superb, I cannot explain it in words, we even went thru a small forest a little trail so tranquil and beautiful. It was a marvelous time. If I can give advise if you ever visit Port Alfred you have to go for the horse ride. I cannot wait to do it again...

I am a beginner and was a little nervous during my first ride through the dunes at Tharfield Farm. Jann put me completely at ease and gave me a gentle horse to ride. I ended up doing 3 more rides during my stay and gained more confidence. The location is absolutely stunning and we even saw bushbuck in the dune forest one day. Coming from Australia I loved it and it was a great way to experience a beautiful part of South Africa. Thank you to Jann and her team. Highly recommended.

Wonderful horses, stunning views during the ride, relaxed atmosphere and very friendly guides. We just keep on coming back any time we are around Port Alfred.

Jann has the most gentle sweet horses and she took us on a beautiful ride in the bush and over dunes which had stunning views of the sea. We were two adults and two 11 year old boys with little or no experience of horses and we all had a super afternoon.

What is the age restriction? I have a 8year old who has ridden before but is not an experienced rider!

Thank you for your inquiry. For families with inexperienced 7 to 10 year olds we offer the 1hr Scenic Dune Forest Trail, with sea and river views. For 11 years plus and adults (experienced or beginners) we offer the 1 hour or 1.5 hour Beach Trail.
