A wonderful place to visit. Each picture is a masterpiece...the portrait are all alive as if they want to express themselves.
The staff is super cooperative..we were shown the museum very nicely.
Spend few moments with Bibi jee. Absolutely treasured the visit.

Great Place to visit in beautiful and calm surroundings. A must visit for art lovers to see the original paintings of Sardar Sobha Singh. There is a well stocked souvenir shop of the local heritage and also a variety of succulent plants for sale. The gallery is run by the artist's very friendly and courteous family.

The gallery is dedicated to famous artist from Punjab Sobha Singh. Shobha Singh’s masterpiece paintings of Guru Nanak and portraits of Sohni-Mahinval and Hir-Ranjha can be seen here. You can also buy their prints at the shop here. Most of the paintings displayed show the influence Kangra School of art. The art gallery also has sculptures and busts of some eminent people of Punjab like M.S. Randhawa, Prithviraj Kapoor and Nirmal Chandra and Amrita Pritam.

The place definitely gives you a lot of insights to a true artist’s life. Magic of the place is overwhelming simplicity of his lifestyle and the imagination put on canvas is nothing less than reality. Must visit place for budding artists.

Visited the Art Gallery and museum last week. Was pleasantly surprised to see such a beautifully maintained place, with large collection of paintings and personal items of the painter. Sardar Sobha Singh was undoubtedly one of the most gifted painters and respected citizens of his times, yet not many people know about him. I came away informed, impressed and humbled. If you are in Palampur area, dont miss this experience

Must place to visit for art lovers , beautiful paintings by Famlous painter Shobha Singh, most of the paintings depict Himachal culture , famous painting of the gadden , and Sohni Mahiwal are one of the few famous one

Visited S. Sobha Singh Art Gallery after 40 years. It was a overwhelming experience. Watching paintings of the legendary artist was a spiritual journey especially of Shaheed Bhagat Singh besides other master pieces. This place should get a national status from central & state government.

Only after visiting this place I realized that many paintings which are famous in Northern India and elsewhere are creation of Sardar Shobha Singh. His art-work touches the very basic feelings of human and makes one realize about the importance of love & faith and sadness in his life.
