Learned a few new words during my visit to the museum. Fantastic exhibition -at the courtyard and inside the museum. Good range of gifts too. We also visited the temporary exhibition hall and it was very educational

The museum is like a private house - very beautiful. There are two main buildings. There are plenty of ancient items found here. Very cheap - only 3 BGN. I recommend buying group ticket for the museum + roman tomb and baths for only 7BGN.

Really small town with small museum, but so full of magic and history. Entrance fee is 2 euro for regular ticket and 3,5 euro for tickets that includee Termal bath entrance as well.

As a keen historical tourist that I am, visiting the museum got me curious starting from the front yard.
The really big pots put in the main court are different than most pots for storage that I’ve seen. Going inside I liked the Thracian and Roman artefacts that have been preserved and discovered, some even recently. Very nice explanation in Bulgarian about all relics, coins, buildings found inside the area of the Roman wall. Loved it!

Do not expect many samples as this is a small museum. Just spend time for each item and read about it. Some of the pieces are six thousand years old. Can't complain as the ticket is only 1 euro. Nice touch to your daily walk in Hisarya.

Ce petit musée est divisé en trois sections : folklore bulgare, folklore asiatique, archéologie locale. Cette dernière section permet de compléter la visite des ruines romaines et présente du mobilier (céramiques, armes), des inscriptions, des maquettes (entre autre l'original amphithéâtre). Il est conseillé de prendre le billet groupé musée - thermes - tombe romaine.

This is a great small museum which is worthwhile visiting, a combined ticket costing 15 Lev allows you to visit also the Roman bath and Roman tomb nearby. These are very interesting and help you understand the artefacts in the museum.
The museum has some English info and some impressive artefacts and explains the history of the area from before the Romans to after them.
There is also another area where beautiful massive gemstones and crystals are displayed as well as local national costumes and farm equipment.

Ce musée fait partie du billet combiné avec la tombe et les thermes romains.
Petit mais intéressant avec une partie archéologique et une deuxième exposition qui change manifestement (pierres, améthystes etc quand nous y étions)

Small: It dosn't take long time to see all in the museum but I think it is is enough to understand how reach in historical aspects is this region. You should visit this place for sure!
