After we (three families each with an eleven-year-old waterskiing interceptor child) had great fun last year at another facility in the Hamburg area, we wanted to repeat the event and went to Pinneberg.
You book a package for beginners there for 45€ for skis, neoprene, life jacket, wristband to check in at the start for two hours and a “briefing” that takes place via video. According to the website Beginners are allowed to join the ongoing operation at any time.
Unfortunately, the system was stopped significantly faster than last year's, so our children all completed a belly splash directly. Everything is half as wild - the experience of success from a year ago would surely come true! So all good queued up back and maintained.
Unfortunately, more and more people joined us during the first hour. Partly from outside like us, but most obviously very experienced and equipped annual pass users. Of course, these offer a certain entertainment value for everyone involved, but thanks to your skill they also drive at least the maximum allowed four laps at a time.
As a result, up to 40 people were on the track in the meantime - or queuing for it! For our kids, this meant waiting between 20 and 30 minutes until the next attempt, which was usually over again immediately after the start due to the cooling down in between and the running speed of the rope.
We then asked if there might be an extension of the slot due to the prevailing situation. The employee initially explained that they had already imposed a “stop on admission” for external customers, but that annual pass users had free access to the railway at all times. After all, he was willing to “call”, so probably to call a supervisor.
Unfortunately, our request to extend the slot was rigorously rejected and so the afternoon ended two hours after punch and during that time six takeoff attempts each took place. At the same time, our children had done lap after lap on the other track last year...
The setting itself is beautiful beach clubwise, there is also a small bathing area, which was at least fun for our younger children. Food and drinks, however, are relatively expensive - even from the point of view of someone who is used to Hamburg city centre prices.
Our conclusion: this is simply a rip-off with beginners! 45€ for two hours queuing is simply a joke! The Beginners simply don’t stand a chance at the pace set for the more professional riders – but don’t disturb the “running operation” any further, because they don’t occupy the track for long anyway and therefore don’t get in the way of the annual pass users any further!
Those who exclusively fancy a beach club and are willing to dig deeper into their pockets for fries and drinks may find happiness here...

Top location in Pinneberg with beach feeling and lots of wakeboard action! Delicious and large portion of fries. I cannot understand previous comments...

We were there and ate a currywurst with fries. It was an absolute disaster. The whole thing cost just under €10 and was inedible. The fries were totally oversalted and the ketchup, both on the fries and the sausage, was extremely sour. Inedible.

Super Anlage und Super Beachclub!
Eine kleine aber sehr angenehme Wasserskianlage. Eine sehr entspannte Stimmung. Hier und da merkt man das der Laden eben etwas familärer und kleiner geführt wird aber alle Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und zu unserer vollsten zufriedenheit

Moin, so schlechte Pommes habe ich noch nie gegessen ... 10 min auf die Pommes & Nachos gewartet was ja kein Problem ist, doch die Nachos wurden direkt kalt aus der Tüte in die Schale gepackt - nicht mal warm gemacht & die Pommes waren alt und kalt !! Die Preise sind nicht angebracht !! Schade ... so eine schöne Anlage & so eine mangelhafte „ Gastronomie „ Nie wieder ... !

Nette kleine Wasserski-Anlage mit Beachclub. Es gibt Snacks und Drinks und zur Unterhaltung schaut man gern auf das Treiben der Anlage. An der Bar dauert' s meistens etwas, Personal jedoch nett . Auswahl an Getränken ist umfangreich. Schlecht ist für die Gastronomie , dass es Leute gibt, die die Liegestühle mit runter an den See nehmen, nichts konsumieren und es so wirkt als sei das selbstverständlich. Aus dem Beachclub liesse sich sicher mehr machen und viele solcher Plätze haben wir hier nicht. Ich drücke dem Betreiber die Daumen für eine tolle Saison mit super Wetter.

gemütliche Anlage im alten Freibad-Areal. Am See gelegener Sandstrand mit gemütlicher Strandbar mit Blick auf die Wasserski-Anlage.

Sehr kleine Wasserskianlage am Rande von Hamburg.
Leider ist der Teich sehr von Wasserbewuchs etc. belastet. Trotz regelmäßigem Mähen, ist es eher ekelig dort zu fahren. Da gibt es im Umkreis deutlich bessere Spots.

Sehr schöne Anlage im Beach Ambiente, mit Beachbar und viel Sand.
Kleine Snacks gibt es ebenso, wie ein gutes Bier oder ein anderes Kaltgetränk.
Wer nicht selbst ins Wasser möchte, um Wasserski auszuprobieren, der kann die Leute dabei beobachten, wie sie Ihre Runden ziehen oder Sprünge machen.
Ideal für einen Nachmittag oder Abend in der Sonne.
Kleine Snacks gibt es ebenso, wie ein gutes Bier oder ein anderes Kaltgetränk.
Wer nicht selbst ins Wasser möchte, um Wasserski auszuprobieren, der kann die Leute dabei beobachten, wie sie Ihre Runden ziehen oder Sprünge machen.
Ideal für einen Nachmittag oder Abend in der Sonne.
