De fontein was afgedekt dus er was niet zo veel aan. Er stond ook niet echt vernoemd wat de achterliggende gedachten achter de fontein is.

Ohne die Bedeutung des Brunnens zu kennen war es für mich ein richtiger Hingucker; nicht nur kurz. Mitten in der Fußgängerzone. Sollte man gesehen haben

This guy was allowed to at least put on a mask and look out of the window during beloved carnival but took the permission quite literally by walking the streets wearing a window frame.

The so-called Kappedaeschle Fountain was created by Robert Seyfried in 1977, and the striking figure with a fool's cap is a historical figure dating back to 1849. During the short lived 1848/49 revolution, Prussian military quartered in Radolfzell. In order to keep the public order under control, carnival was banned in Radolfzell.
Xaver Daeschle, a resident, summoned up his courage and asked the Prussian city commander for permission to at least to be able to mask himself and look out of the window during carnival time. He was graciously allowed to do so.
The clever Xaver Däschle hastened home, and built a window frame, painted it, and even attached curtains to it. Then he dressed in colourful fool's robes and ran with the window frame through the streets followed by a large, noisy crowd of children. The Prussian commander, outwitted by Xaver Daeschle, had no choice but grin and bear it. Other carnival figures of Radolfzell are depicted on the shoulder and lower left arm of the figure of Xaver Daeschle, and on the window frame.

Мы были в старой части этого городка в марте 2019 года и к сажалению фонтан был закрыт ,но данная скульптура шута нам очень понравилась.

Der inmitten der Altstadt gelegene Kappedäschle-Brunnen erinnert an eine von der alemannischen Bevölkerung so empfundene historische „Schande“ der Preußen. Diese hatten Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts Radolfzell besetzt und als „strenge“ Protestanten die traditionelle und im „einfachen Volk“ tief verwurzelte Fastnacht verboten. „Mit listigen Hintergedanken“ erhielt ein Einwohner namens Däschle vom Stadtkommandanten die Erlaubnis, wenigstens maskiert zum Kreuzstock (oberster Wohnhausteil) hinausgucken zu dürfen. Worauf er einen Kreuzstock einschließlich von Vorhängen nachbastelte und diesen über sich tragend in Narrenkleidung durch die Gassen hüpfte. Klugerweise machte der preußische Kommandant „gute Miene zu einem solchen Fastnachtsumtrieb“.

시내 중심가에 있는 작은 분수대인데 별로 특별할 것 은 없지만 그래도 분수가 있어서 생기있고 느낌은 좋았다. 나쁠 것 없어요

Was für die Fastnachtsnarren. Erinnert an die bekannteste Zunft in Radolfzell. Sonst gemütlicher Trefffpunkt, um Kleinkinder mal planschen zu lassen.

Came across this feature whilst walking round the town centre. It's a nice setting atop a small water fountain and nothing near as radical as the large piece of wall art along the access path from town to Seemax centre which will certainly blow you mind! Whilst I'm not 100% certain of the history I do know it was put in place during 1977 and is in commemoration/celebration of an event which dates back to 1849/50 when Prussian forces occupied the town. The name of the statue roughly translates to "Capped Cove Fountain"
