My family and I started from Vivo City

You can catch MRT to Harbourfront.

We walked across from there and started ascending the slope up to Mount Faber.

If you are a keen hiker go the whole way to almost the Jurong East (but not MRT) you might need to catch a taxi or take a bus to the nearest MRT.

We walked until the Henderson Waves, came down the huge steps and caught the MRT at Telok Blangah Circle Line, as I am Checking now for you, you could walk over the bridge go to Southern Ridges, come down to Labrador Park MRT station.
