Everything about Furari is great. It's small and cozy. Just 3 rooms. It's very clean, the family owners are extremely nice, and the food is excellent. Situated an easy hour drive from Kanazawa, Furari is set off the main road, across a river. There are very few houses around, and during our 3 night stay, we only saw a line of monkeys walking on the wall by the river. The building itself is over 100 years old. It has been refurbished but keeping the old feel with the original, wonderful wooden beams. The reception, kitchen, two bathrooms, toilet and one bedroom are on the first floor, and two bedrooms with individual toilets are on the second. The tables in the dining room room are irori type, which means they have a hearth in the middle for cooking and keeping foods hot. The baths are made from hinoki (type of cypress). A must for anyone looking for somewhere quiet to stay in the area.…

石川観光の際に一泊利用しました。 一日３組限定のお宿で、地元の食材の料理が楽しめます。 朝食に１時間かけれるぐらい心に余裕のある方におすすめ。 古民家にゆっくりした時間が流れています。

おもてなしがいいです。３部屋だけの宿で宿泊した日が２部屋だったのでお風呂も部屋専用で使えました。料理は地元産の材料を使って見た目も楽しめます。宿の周りでサルが出没します。寒い季節はカメムシも。

今回が３回目の訪問。ほっこりゆっくりと美味しい料理に舌鼓。地元の食材を上手に活かしたお食事は特筆ものです。お風呂も木の香りいっぱいで寛げます。世間でいう豪華とか贅沢という基準からは外れるかもしれませんが、素朴で美味で本物な料理という最高の贅沢がここにあると私は思います。オーナー夫妻のさりげない気配りも嬉しい宿です。

民宿のイメージよりはきれいでおしゃれです。オーナーさんの手作りの袋やコースターなどが押しつけがましくなくちょこちょこっとあり、おもてなしの気持ちが嬉しいです。お風呂は木で出来ていてなかなかいい感じ、温泉ではありませんがとろっとした感じがします。民宿としてはお高目ですがゆっくりとした時間を過ごしました。
