The customer I met in 2011 was not the same as in 2017. This person at the time was nice, but not this time !! About the credit card, the story is not exactly this one. You have forgotten your credit card at the front desk after you have returned to the counter after paying. This credit card was not seen right away but a few minutes after you left and it was already too late to get you back. That's the real reason !!
