Stayed at hotel Hungree Retreat for two nights during our North Sikkim trip. The hotel offers nice view points of Kanchenjungha Mountain peaks from the balcony. It's a budget hotel booked by Dolphin Travels. Hotel hospitality was good. Our room was small in size at 2nd floor but it was neat & cleaned with proper equipment. No elevator was there so we had to come down at first floor for having food in dining hall. Food quality was satisfactory.

Its very peaceful and nice place to stay in this Hotel, Its budget hotel with very nice hospitality. Clearly see Kanchanjanga Mountain from its room window. Its memorable experience in the life. Good neat and clean rooms.

We got reference of this Hotel from the one where we stayed in Gangtok and when I read the reviews I wasn't convinced but than I also read the management response and on Manager's recommendation we booked it but were still hesitant. As the saying goes, Best things happen when we do not expect. Hotel is located at Upper Pelling among other well know Hotels. It is near to Football ground and quite prominent. Manager Aakash is very helpful and service oriented. We took room with view on First floor. Room is big enough with Side Balcony and decent Bathroom. Water is scanty in Pelling so plz use judicially though we had plenty for us. Complimentary toiletries and Tea making kit was there and refilled everyday. We requested for vegetarian Breakfast and Dinner and to our surprise food was of the same taste as in North India. Their chef is amazing. The effort of keeping Guest comfort on priority can be seen. View of Kanchenjunga from window early morning was breath taking enjoy it while sipping hot tea. Highly recommended. Good Job Aakash and Team.…
