The location of the stay is fantastic. If you are looking for a calm, serene place, you are fond watching birds, like the charm of forest,stay at Monal Heritage home. You can have a small walk in the evenings to the village observe the sunset, beautiful blooms, houses. The host Tanay and his wife are warm and welcoming. The sitting of the home is the part I enjoyed the most starring at the forest and sipping tea. They are always willing to guide you through sightseeing,routes, weather, food, permit. Do try the local cuisine made by them and off course the local millet drink.

I thoroughly enjoyed and loved my stay at Monal homestay. I was very well looked after. I was unwell during my stay but I was given the care and nutrition by body needed too. The staff are amazing, very friendly, kind and helpful. I was not treated as a guest but as a friend, which was a great feeling. I felt at home and happy. They pay attention to every detail of their guest’s likes/dislikes. Monal homestay is located in a very peaceful area of Geyzing, surrounded by forests. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town. It is nice to do short / long walks either side of the homestay, or you can do longer hikes. I was given great advice on which tours to do during my stay. This review isn’t enough to convey to you how much I enjoyed my stay, it was amazing! A great place to relax and rejuvenate! I will definitely be going back! …

I had a wonderful stay at Monal during December 2018. Located a few kilometers away from the touristy central area of Pelling, Monal has all that you would wish for in your dream vacation home: a sit-out with a beautiful view of the sunrise, abundant flora and fauna (including wood peckers, flying squirrels!), friendly neighbours, all in an idyllic setting. Tanay and Yogita and their team were wonderful hosts and extremely helpful in charting out my itinerary for the duration of the stay. Their suggestions were very relevant and added a lot to my sight-seeing experience. The meals were a surprise! instead of the standard hotel fare, I had the pleasure of trying out various delicious local dishes (prepared in the in-house kitchen) and beverages like Chaang (rice wine), Tongba (a millet-based alcoholic beverage) which they sourced from local vendors. Overall, a very pleasant stay - to the extent that i returned for an additional week in January before ending my trip! Definitely recommend Monal Heritage if you are looking for options around Pelling.…

The stay is very beautiful and the host added more spice and love with our stay. You can spent your best memories with your friends or family or your loved one in a nature friendly weather with boozing, karaoke, and bird watching. Mainly, I would like to told about the host, you just love him, amazing guy.
